The wild man of Ocheesee Pond is a Bigfoot/Sasquatch type creature that roams the swamps and bottom lands of the Florida panhandle. In the late 1800’s a creature known as the “Ocheesee Wild Man” was captured and interned in the Florida State Hospital for the insane. The story surrounding the capture was reported in newspapers all over the East Coast of the United States. We know much about this creature except its fate.
