Spike TV’s 10 Million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty premieres January 10, 2014.

Michael Merchant, one of the participants on Spike TV’s 10 Million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty, offers the following commentary regarding the show:

Having signed a NDA (Non disclosure agreement) I am unable to discuss the show, what did or did not happen, etc. The whole point of having spent millions of dollars producing a show; is so people can watch it, and be surprised by what happens.

All I can say now is that yes obviously I was on the darn thing. This show has been in the works for three years I think; way before Spike took it on. So I knew about it a long, long time ago; but I kept quiet because I promised people I would. Clearly a number of other nitwits had no issue blabbing about stuff they thought they knew about; but in reality, they only had half the picture. They still only have half the picture.

The rumors over this production are beyond silly; and I can tell you, that just about all of them; are full of shit. I see a lot of people saying they are going to boycott the show.

Go right ahead. I don’t give a flying fig.

Having been privy to behind the scenes activity; and the history leading up to people getting on this show; I can promise you; it will be entertaining, shocking, exciting, and colorful.

People’s true colors will come shining though for millions to see in HD. I’d keep in mind; that the majority of the people who I have seen; that are trashing the show; don’t know squat about the bloody thing. Many individuals tried out for the thing, and didn’t make it. It’s just how it is. But now these are the same people claiming they turned down the show; it was beneath them, or what ever.

Reminds me of the fable of the Fox and the grapes.

Other rumors claim certain people somehow had the ability to get other people bumped off the show. This is simply not true. The people making those decisions are fairly high up the feeding chain.

As many of you may know I advocated for a number of my *friends* (not currently friends) to help them get on that stupid thing. I was at the time under a contract that limited me; actually restricted me to the point I was unable to accept the invite to try out for the show. It wasn’t until the last moment that my contract expired, which is the only reason I ended up there. So I had no competition with any of these people.

Yet there are many who took the time to spread misinformation. To be blunt; those of you, who know me; or who have taken the time to follow my very transparent activities on the internet; can make up your own mind as to my morality, dedication, passion and honesty that I live my life by.

So I’ m not going to waste my time explaining my position as it pertains to individuals who lack any moral fiber. If you want to believe their B.S. go right ahead.

Being endless baited into nonsense debates is not something I have the time to devote too; and certainly I lack the interest in such a wasteful use of my life.

Now if you want to be entertained with a high value production embracing awesome locals, and many surprises; then watch the show. If you’ve got your head up your arse; then by all means, do me a favor and DO NOT WATCH IT!
