Check out the Kickstarter project and back it if you want to see this Bigfoot film.
The Film:
To be shot in California near the Oregon border in the giant redwood forest with a small but experienced cast and crew.
The Story:
Deep within the vast forests of the Pacific Northwest, deeper within the myths and legends of the American Indians, lives the Oh-Mah. This creature stands upright, is covered in fur and stands near eight feet tall. They live hidden in the forests, hiding from mankind, protecting at all costs the secret of their very existence. They are the source of the legends of Sasquatch, Yeti and the legendary Bigfoot.
At the edge of the Oh-Mah’s domain lives a sentry. This Oh-Mah is the closest to human civilization. Having watched the workings of man too long, this Oh-Mah has fallen out of balance – he is a killer, a hunter, a sadist. Brutal and merciless he hunts the humans that stray too close to his domain. The Oh-Mah camouflages in intricate patterns of flora, armors in animal bone, leather and fur. He uses weaponry; a bow and arrow, a flint axe, a razor-sharp obsidian knife. With a predatory agility and lethal grace he stalks the forest and kills without mercy.
After Ashley Carr picks up her husband, Max, from an 18 month stint at a state penitentiary located deep in the forest, they are attacked by the Oh-Mah. Lost in the forest, Ashley and Max must battle the elements, crazy locals and the demons of their past in order to survive the day, only then to come face to face with the Oh-Mah.
The local Sheriff, a Native American, seeing the undeniable signs that the Oh-Mah exists, must reject his modern mode of thinking and accept the myths of his forefathers as more than mere legend.
Ashley must survive capture by the Oh-Mah, enduring it’s savage instincts and newly sadistic desires.
Max must face his greatest enemy – himself, if he is to stand up against the Oh-Mah, save his wife and see his son again.
And they will all need each other in order to stop it… or at least try.
Primal Rage: The Legend of Oh-Mah is a character-based thriller thrown into the claws of Bigfoot as Bigfoot has never been seen before. It is PREDATOR meets FIRST BLOOD with this re-envisioning of the Bigfoot legends.
