This is Barber Motion Pictures’ prequel to Windigo. In this short horror film two Bounty Hunters stumble onto the path of a carnivorous Windigo “sasquatch”.
The film is set in 1883 and is loosely based on the Bauman story which was documented in a book written by President Theodore Roosevelt. The term Windigo is derived from Native American folklore. Modern day Cryptozoologist believe that Windigo stories were actually early Sasquatch sightings.
Principle Photography began March 10th 2014. As of March 24, film composer Juan Carlos Enriquez was brought on board. The film was shot on a Canon T3I.
