Biscardi Funds Crowe
Posted by: Loren Coleman on August 17th, 2006
Ray Crowe has written to inform me that the Bigfoot-oriented The Track Record will be publishing again. Crowe got a surprise phone call from South Dakota from Tom Biscardi. Biscardi said he was going to fund The Track Record.
Of course, why is Biscardi in South Dakota? Any guesses that he’s doing something in Pine Ridge?
Ray Crowe’s The Track Record was formerly financially backed by Peter Byrne. Crowe published material in his publication that was often approved by or written by Byrne, as well as specifically excluded material vetoed by Byrne as being unfavorable to Byrne’s public image.
Ray Crowe writes on August 17th: "Tom is now my best friend."
About Loren Coleman
Loren Coleman is one of the world’s leading cryptozoologists, some say “the” leading living cryptozoologist. Certainly, he is acknowledged as the current living American researcher and writer who has most popularized cryptozoology in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
Starting his fieldwork and investigations in 1960, after traveling and trekking extensively in pursuit of cryptozoological mysteries, Coleman began writing to share his experiences in 1969. An honorary member of Ivan T. Sanderson’s Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained in the 1970s, Coleman has been bestowed with similar honorary memberships of the North Idaho College Cryptozoology Club in 1983, and in subsequent years, that of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, CryptoSafari International, and other international organizations. He was also a Life Member and Benefactor of the International Society of Cryptozoology (now-defunct).
Loren Coleman’s daily blog, as a member of the Cryptomundo Team, served as an ongoing avenue of communication for the ever-growing body of cryptozoo news from 2005 through 2013. He returned as an infrequent contributor beginning Halloween week of 2015.
Coleman is the founder in 2003, and current director of the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine.
I MAY BE SICK
I guess it just goes to show you that everyone has a price tag. Looks like ol’ TB will have at least one site that thinks he has integrity, but then I guess that is subjective also.
I just knew it was about the time for an ole TB story.
Not him again!
Yup…truth is stranger than fiction….strange bedfellows…JMHO
My killer dawgs are relieved the “mutant dawg killer in Maine…is kilt…
seeing is believing…
ole bub and the Rottweilers
I just hope Crowe does not end up feeling like something took a bite out of him. UGH
The plot thickens…
Let us be fair to Ray. After all, he has had health problems for the last two years, he’s lost his leg, his wife died, and he was losing subscribers to his newsletter. As long as he continues to produce a high-quality newsletter, who cares who he’s funded by, our own feelings about Biscardi notwithstanding? Let’s just give Ray a chance, folks.
Excellent point mrbf2006…
In business…if your model is incredible…you CO-OPT your board with some one credible…as long as Ray’s newsletter remains credible…who cares…sometimes a leopard can change it’s spots….look at the “black panther”….or perhaps some one paid a hand and a leg….JMHO
No Bucks….No bigfoot…
ole bub and the dawgs
Yes, uncle ray lost a leg, a tragedy for sure. But willfully aligning himself with that biscardi phony, is indicative of also losing some major brain cells!
So Tom must win his law suit first to pay Ray? This is like finding out that Bob Guccione has purchased Reader’s Digest.
Aint notin at Pine Ridge anyway… not even a footprint- so far! If TB wants to find a Bigfoot, then he needs to come to Washington State and I’ll show him where to look…
