Hyundai Canada Squatch Spots

Posted by: Loren Coleman on February 6th, 2012

The Super Bowl apparently did have a Sasquatch (or “Squatch”) ad, after all. Here it is, followed by other YouTube items that Hyundai Canada or the ad agency posted, as well.

Loren Coleman About Loren Coleman
Loren Coleman is one of the world’s leading cryptozoologists, some say “the” leading living cryptozoologist. Certainly, he is acknowledged as the current living American researcher and writer who has most popularized cryptozoology in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Starting his fieldwork and investigations in 1960, after traveling and trekking extensively in pursuit of cryptozoological mysteries, Coleman began writing to share his experiences in 1969. An honorary member of Ivan T. Sanderson’s Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained in the 1970s, Coleman has been bestowed with similar honorary memberships of the North Idaho College Cryptozoology Club in 1983, and in subsequent years, that of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, CryptoSafari International, and other international organizations. He was also a Life Member and Benefactor of the International Society of Cryptozoology (now-defunct). Loren Coleman’s daily blog, as a member of the Cryptomundo Team, served as an ongoing avenue of communication for the ever-growing body of cryptozoo news from 2005 through 2013. He returned as an infrequent contributor beginning Halloween week of 2015. Coleman is the founder in 2003, and current director of the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine.

  1. Hapa responds:

Hilarious! And a good job on the Sasquatch costume: they even made the arms more anthropoid, longer than human arms for a person that size.

Cannot wait for a real Sasquatch to appear on a Super-Bowl ad!

  2. PoeticsOfBigfoot responds:

My favorite is the small talk. I love how the Big Hairy Dude heads for the trashcan.

  3. Ragnar responds:

Those are completely insane! Very good job Loren. Thanks for posting them.

I wonder if FBFB has analyzed them yet?

  4. Kopite responds:

Same old bad sasquatch costume. Lots of shaggy hair, formless suit (no bulk, muscle definition etc).

Looks like Patty was the real deal.

  5. choppedlow responds:

How in the world is this anything like “the same old sasquatch costume”? Was there a dead one they could model it after? And even if Patty WAS real, would you assume they all looked exactly like her? Maybe there is a fat one who needs a haircut and is always trying to fit in? These guys did a terrific job with this! These guys do the commercial for the generic buyer, not the small handful who joined the bigfootforum. I can watch these over and over. Great commercial!

  6. EnormousFoot responds:

It can’t be real. It was close up and clear.

  7. fooks responds:

well done! i want to see them all.

    is this canadian?

  8. thesasquatchbeliever0302 responds:

    LOL!

holy crap is that a sasquatch?!

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
