Man-Wolf Updates

“Manwolf sightings continue to roll in. The two Iām sharing here are older but only a few months ago ā while looking for something else ā I found six-inch-plus canid tracks in a muddy field near Whitewater. The prints veered into the field from brush at the road shoulder, followed some deer tracks until it caught up and then the deer tracks ran off to a woods and the canine tracks were lost to drier soil.”
So begins Linda Godfrey in a new posting at her blog – which contains information on two older encounters brought to Linda’s attention.

Wolves are prevalent in Wisconsin. They have a hunting season. Some hunters will hunt with dogs. Beware Wolfman. Photo of paw print looks similar to my Great Dane’s or my St. Bernard’s. Possibly the print is from a wolf? Maybe Wisconsin’s 600,000+ deer hunters will bag a Wolfman this fall along with their annual 345,000+ deer.
