Scottish Puma?
Posted by: Nick Redfern on May 23rd, 2012
The Scotsman is reporting on the discovery at Cullen, Moray, Scotland of the remains of a dead animal that “…appeared to be a cat the size of a large dog.”
According to the man who discovered it, John Robertson: “I reckon it’s a cub – its teeth are too clean and there isn’t enough damage to them, which means they must be pretty new. If that’s a cub though, you can imagine how big its mother would be.”
A large and exotic cat of distinctly out of place proportions? Well, since studies are ongoing, it would be premature to come to any firm conclusion right now.
“Watch this space” is a good idea…

Some of the people commenting on that article seem to have seen pictures of the body… any idea where we can find those?
You can find a photo at this link, but comments are now suggesting a very different animal…
Thanks, Nick. I’m afraid I’d agree with the commenters – looks very much like an otter to me.
