New Bigfoot Video Or What?
Posted by: Craig Woolheater on March 20th, 2006
Is this video posted on YouTube legit? Is it video footage of a Bigfoot, or is it something else?
It looks like it is picking up a smaller object as the video starts.
What do the Cryptomundo readers think?

The video is back up on YouTube
This is the link to the original video.
And this is the link to a zoomed in copy of the video.
And this is the text that the person who shot the footage provided.
Information regarding the footage.
I was on highway 169 in Ely, Northern Minnesota. The date was January 26th, 2006. The time that it happened was around 4:30 a.m.
As I was driving down the road I heard screams comming from the woods. It can be compared to an owl type hooting/cry. This caused me to slow down & to see what it was. I was driving about 5 miles an hour or less when in front of my headlights walked this creature which was on 2 legs. Its body was covered in brownish fur and around its face area was black. It looked at me through my windshield then made its way over to the left side of the road, where it stood watching me. I grabbed my camera & turned on the ‘nightvision’ setting & started to film. As I filmed its back was turned to me & it was doing something near the pine tree. Then it walked up the hill into the woods. Which I am angry about because I could only see what showed with my headlights in the film, whereas I saw a lot more without the camera. This thing was huge & my guess it was probably around 6 feet high.
Alot of people agree that this Sasquatch is actually picking up a ‘baby bigfoot’ before walking up the hill. And its screamming is what I heard earlier.

I have appeared in or contributed to the following TV programs, documentaries and films:
OLN's Mysterious Encounters: "Caddo Critter", Southern Fried Bigfoot, Travel Channel's Weird Travels: "Bigfoot", History Channel's MonsterQuest: "Swamp Stalker", The Wild Man of the Navidad, Destination America's Monsters and Mysteries in America: Texas Terror - Lake Worth Monster, Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot: Return to Boggy Creek and Beast of the Bayou.
Wow…
Not very clear since it’s dark of course, but my imagination is compelling me to see an image of a mamma-sasquatch and her young fella wandering around the snowy woods at night.
If it just popped up on YouTube though, that doesn’t help its credibility.
Any back-story with that clip?
It’s pretty pudgy and it’s stumbling alot. It’s either a drunk bigfoot or a bear, since it looks like it doesn’t walk on hind legs very well.
To quote the ineffable Harry Knowles from Ain’t It Cool News when referencing Godzilla:
MAN IN SUIT!
MAN IN SUIT!
MAN IN SUIT!
if this is real its the best since the patty film and a baby bigfoot to boot. Im sure the orig and uncut video is amazing, no way is this a bear….
Just a pity again there was no zoom feature on the camcorder/camera ??!!? And the “animal” being filmed is not even central to the screen. Sorry but the more I watch it, the more it looks like a bear ?
I’m inclined to agree with the Man In Suit theory on this one, it certainly doesn’t walk like Feety in the Patterson footage, why not follow the creature get a better picture? I never understand why people don’t do it
I for one am glad there’s no zoom-in. I find that most often, zooms just result in shakey footage with no reference points, and are therefore just a waste of valuable recording time.
And now the video is gone from YouTube.
Did anyone download it?
It is, unfortunately, now gone from the tube site. Whoever posted it perhaps realized what it was? Or someone told this individual to take it down until it was further examined.
IMO, this is not a bear(s). I clearly see something stand up, pivot right, bend down about 3 times as if it is gathering something up, I see it yank something out from between its legs, and stumble forward. I cleary see (saw) elbows, shoulders, a head in the shadows, two legs. The left arm and “hand” swishes across the grass or shrubs as it walks forward and to the left.
My first impression was mom (in a long fur coat) at the mall, gathering up packages and perhaps junior, and heading for the bus, tripping on jr perhaps on the way. IMHO this is not a bear!
Anyone know where the video can be viewed now?
Interesting video…a shame we can’t access it now….what was the eventual consensus on the Mercedes Benz edited video posted in December?
Any tips on viewing archived blogs…I can’t access beyond the first page….of archived months…
seeing is believing
ole bub
Ole Bub,
The video is back online, as well as an “enhanced” version. Check it out quick before it gets taken down again…
Updated links in the original post.
And as far as the archives go, or any of the pages, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see where it says page, and then 1 2 3 up to however many pages there are. You can page through the archives by clicking on the page number.
Chasing animals with young is a probally a real bad idea, but at least get a photo of yourself standing behind that tree for referance.
length of legs times thickness of legs plus stumbling equal man in suit
Much obliged Craig….
The archive page numbers have not been posting the past few days….this morning everything seems in order…
I watched the Mercedes video over the weekend and was curious what folks thought….especially since I could not access the archived pages for that month….My Valor DSL might be the problem….better than dial up though…
seeing is believing…
ole bub
total fake
ok we have heard man suit and guy cant walk in snow. but no one mentions if he is in the car watching this why didnt he turn the car to keep the lights on it and i noticed the camera doesnt move to follow it. seems odd that he doesnt tho he mentions he see’s it better without the camera.
Personally, if I were to encounter a supposedly non-existent animal at 4:30 in the morning, I’d be doing well to just grab the camera. I wouldn’t be worrying about what the sceptics are going to criticize me for and I undoubtedly wouldn’t be thinking about the headlights.
I would, however, be stunned.
Absolutely a hoax.
I feel it is a hoax…
