How to Make a Monster

How to make a Monster the art & technology of animatronics, now running through March 5, 2006 at the Australian Museum in Sydney, will "reveal the methods involved in bringing creatures to life for the movie screen and how these methods relate to museum displays."

You can learn how John Cox’s Creature Workshop creatures visual effects for movies, how monsters are sometimes based on real animals, sculpting, fur blending and animatronics. Pretty much all of the gadgetry of prodicing movie creatures.
