Breaking News! Patty Wore a Bone Hair Clasp
Posted by: Craig Woolheater on April 25th, 2007
Tonight on the “Let’s Talk Bigfoot” radio show, Kathy Strain will be debating with M. K. Davis about his recent discoveries of artifacts in the Patterson/Gimlin film.
From what I have gathered, M. K. is now saying that Patty had braided hair that was held in place with a hair clasp made of bone.
I know, it sounds crazy. Tune in to the show at 9 PM Central tonight to hear the debate over M. K.’s evidence. Click here to listen.

Well, I think she’s got extensions and some botox work; you don’t look that fab without some help !
This is absolutely ludicrous! Bigfoots don’t use bones in their hair! They use those little elastic thingies with the little beads on them, scavenged from Monday morning campsites.
Well, I got to see some of the images before they blocked it. There does appear to be something flopping around next to patty’s right eye. I can’t say for sure whether it’s a braid, or a shadow, a leaf, or a strangely placed dingleberry. Toggling between two carefully selected frames of a film can be misleading. Bone clasp? Could be, I guess. It shows as a light-colored strip, barely discernible, at the top of the floppy thing that could be a braid.
I think MK Davis has done some amazing work with the film, but there can be only so much there. He exhausted what he could discover a couple of years ago and has since been chasing artifacts and the play between light and shadows. I’m just waiting now for the bell shaped zipper!
Close the book on your work MK and rest on your laurels before it’s too late…if that point hasn’t already been past!
I was under the mistaken impression that MK Davis’ recent silence was to heal both his reputation and the self-inflicted gunshot wounds to his feet.
hey craig & everyone melissa & teresa did a wonderful new bigfoot radio show last night. they & kathy interviewed mk davis wonderfully about his research & theories about p/g film. teresa & melissa looking forward to listening your new show next wednesday at 10pm. thanks bill
What next, patty dropped her handbag and MK Davis has found it with the license still inside? She drives a Ford fiesta?
Hehe, or did she drop her mobile phone and it had Biscardi on speed dial?
No she drove a Rambler.
I think she uses the stick to jab for bush babies.
And that’s not hair; it’s a bra.
And…um….
Looks like we have another in a line of folks who make significant contributions to the sas field, then go to the other end of the pool.
They may never come up with a name for what’s got M.K. Davis by the brain.
I think someone has been watching the video a few too many times and is starting to see things that aren’t neccesarily there. I could stare at any video for long enough and start to see things. Enough is enough. Sigh.
Interesting Idea. But what would the purpose be? Before you reached the point of constructing a hair clip you would need to know how to tie a simple knot. The hair has to be held in some manner. Has any primate demonstrated this ability?
Regards
Calash- Oh yeah, chimps are well known to wear hair clips and some primates actually get dye jobs, extensions and weaves. 🙂 I wonder where Patty gets her hair done?
I think the idea of a hair clasp isn’t that far-fetched, if you are out to prove a hoax or presuppose a hoax.
The problem here is that Patterson’s film wouldn’t have to be that good to convince his contemporary audience, supposing he did in fact fake it. Was it luck? Or was it a real individual?
Considering the circumstances, I think the idea itself of faking it to such a degree of excellence must be put under common-sensical scrutiny. If Patterson indeed did not go for the trophy of being one of the greatest con artists of modern time, a con genius, I think the movie must be real.
I’m sure if you look close enough at the video and for a long enough time you’ll see Elvis in the background waving to the camera, too.
For *#!@* sake…
I see the images are no longer available through the link shown above. A couple of Davis’s enhancements can be seen here.

As stated during the radio program, MK’s contention isn’t just that Patty is wearing a bone hair clasp, but also that she has a purposefully shaped head, braided hair, and has a digging stick in her hand. In anthropology, we know that there is a hierarchy of cultural development. If Patty is capable of the abstract concept of beauty (braiding, clasp, and head shaping) but doesn’t have clothes, fire, or a social structure…well, then…I’m just not buying it!
