Toyota and Loch Ness
Posted by: Craig Woolheater on January 22nd, 2007
Here is a repost of a video that I had posted earlier here on Cryptomundo.
I found a longer version of the video, one that I have not seen on TV.
This one is hosted at youtube.
About Craig Woolheater
Co-founder of Cryptomundo in 2005.
I have appeared in or contributed to the following TV programs, documentaries and films:
OLN's Mysterious Encounters: "Caddo Critter", Southern Fried Bigfoot, Travel Channel's Weird Travels: "Bigfoot", History Channel's MonsterQuest: "Swamp Stalker", The Wild Man of the Navidad, Destination America's Monsters and Mysteries in America: Texas Terror - Lake Worth Monster, Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot: Return to Boggy Creek and Beast of the Bayou.
I had not seen that either. Pretty cool!
I am curious if Mr. Shine has seen the finished ad and what he thinks of it.
What always bothered me about this commercial was that, when the monster flings the Toyota back onto shore, the camera follows the truck rather than following the mysterious animal it has been sent there to document. Yes, it makes sense in a commercial that is trying to sell trucks, but the ad sets us up to believe that it is a videotaped cryptozoological expedition, in which case the camera should be spending more time on the aquatic beast and less on the truck and the dudes who are enamored with it.
Funny! I like it! Obviously tongue firmly in cheek here!
I think its cute 🙂 although I haven’t seen that as a commercial on TV, but I have seen it on ‘best of’ and other entertainment shows.
I’ve seen the ad, it’s funny.
I’ve never seen the wading into the Loch portion before.
hehehe I hadn’t seen that one. Thanks for sharing it!
What is he saying as he dives in the water?
I have no clue what he was saying. Tho the ad is funny! Amazing that the truck has no damage from slamming headon into the embankment! I have a Toyota Pickup and I think that would cause some damage to mine! LOL
Adrian Shine wading into water:
Get the net you fools!
The wading makes the ad, in my opinion…it was just kind of amusing before without it…
