Bigfoot Shows up in India
Posted by: Craig Woolheater on January 9th, 2006
The Times of India reports today that a team of 4 amateur anthropologists have found 4 Bigfoot footprints ranging in size from 8.5 to 29 inches.
I guess they couldn’t let Malaysia hog the Bigfoot spotlight. What with the Malaysian Bigfoot Flap, and the announcement that China was halting tourism into Chinese Bigfoot habitat, we are looking at an unprecedented wave of international Bigfoot media.
About Craig Woolheater
Co-founder of Cryptomundo in 2005.
I have appeared in or contributed to the following TV programs, documentaries and films:
OLN's Mysterious Encounters: "Caddo Critter", Southern Fried Bigfoot, Travel Channel's Weird Travels: "Bigfoot", History Channel's MonsterQuest: "Swamp Stalker", The Wild Man of the Navidad, Destination America's Monsters and Mysteries in America: Texas Terror - Lake Worth Monster, Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot: Return to Boggy Creek and Beast of the Bayou.
Yikes. After getting through the landslide of Bollywood pop-up ads at the Times of India site, reading through the original article has left me confused.
Has the use of the word “Bigfoot” now being misused for finds of an anthropological nature?
Is this about a contemporary find of prehistoric tracks?
Why would “carbon-dating” be employed in the analysis of these track finds if they weren’t more archaeological in nature than merely modern hominological finds?
These questions aren’t directed at Craig so much as the Times of India writers.
I hope there’s some followup to the original release of this info.
Using a crude estimate based on Dr. Fahrenbach’s findings would place the height of the adult male at around 20 feet. Awe inspiring, to say the least.
