   Looks like modified characters from the old “Pogo Possum” comic strip?

   Over the Hedge, Pogo’s progeny, great cartoon and kid movie from last summer.

   I’m sure Pogo was a major inspiration for the Over the Hedge artist. I loved this cartoon when I saw it this morning.
