Texas Bigfoot Research Operation
Posted by: Craig Woolheater on October 8th, 2005
I have posted the after-action report from our latest research operation; Operation Thicket Probe. We had a film crew from the Travel Channel along on this outing, shooting for an upcoming episode of Weird Travels.
We had a lot of new research equipment along that we were trying out for the first time. We had a new thermal imager and a new new digital audio recording system.
Jimmy Chilcutt visited our campsite to inspect some suspect finger- and handprint evidence.
About Craig Woolheater
Co-founder of Cryptomundo in 2005.
I have appeared in or contributed to the following TV programs, documentaries and films:
OLN's Mysterious Encounters: "Caddo Critter", Southern Fried Bigfoot, Travel Channel's Weird Travels: "Bigfoot", History Channel's MonsterQuest: "Swamp Stalker", The Wild Man of the Navidad, Destination America's Monsters and Mysteries in America: Texas Terror - Lake Worth Monster, Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot: Return to Boggy Creek and Beast of the Bayou.
Man, Chilcutt has the coolest hair ever.
Guys like him, and Donald Rumsfeld totally rock that 1950’s ‘dad’ hair.
Although if I had hair like Jimmy’s I would never do any T.V. I’d just sit home and and enjoy my hair and eat meatloaf and potatos with my wife.
Looking forward to that upcoming show though.
Fingers crossed against mood music.
The film crew shot with Henner Fahrenbach in Oregon, at Willow Creek in N. California and with David Shealy in the Everglades. I talked with one of the producers of the series this past week. He asked for some hi-res copies of the TBRC’s logos and artwork. He also said that the portion that was shot with us was going to be 75% of the show. We will see…with Shealy involved, I can’t imagine that anyone else would get any airtime…LOL.
Excellent report 🙂 The reports of vocalization heard during the night was just fantastic. I cannot wait to see this show. Also, I think Mr. Chilcutt’s findings on the prints and TBF’s willingness to share the findings of the prints — goes a long way to establishing the credibility of the investigators for this organization 🙂 Good Job 🙂
