Getting a Photo of Bigfoot
Posted by: Craig Woolheater on July 9th, 2006
Caesar Meadows sent me another Bigfoot inspired comic that he did for AntiGravity magazine. I wanted to share it with the readers of Cryptomundo.

Maybe Bigfoot isn’t so hard to photograph…nah.

Good morning Craig….
By the time I fumble around with my SONY cybershot….find the power button…it warms up and is ready to shoot….the subject would be in the next county….my Minolta is not much better…LOL
How are those museum donations rolling in? Come on folks time to get your “whip out”….out.
seeing is believing…
ole bub and the dawgs
LOL!!!
I needed a laugh this morning
Many thanks
Not bad, not bad. Personally, my Minolta rocks. 8)
Get a Canon and get the shot!
Even better idea. When I’m holidaying I ask a resident Frenchman/Brasilian/Norwegian/Welshman/Japanese etc to photograph me (“excuse me, would you be so kind?) Apart from the Welshman they are usually only too willing to hang around and help. Perhaps Squatch is the same, delay him with your gormless tourist act and while he is sizing up your equipment get the other half to snap him.
Good ‘toon!
a few very important things to remember when out looking to photograph the biggin.
dont use a disposable camera. dont use a cheap 35 mil camera. use a 35 mil that allows the use of a good intermediate lens that allows a good zoom but also can take closer pics. your probably not going to take ten foot pictures. if you can get a full feature camera get it. one that can take video and audio clips along with stills is great. most importantly remember to take your camera with you at all times.
if you miss that shot dont be discouraged. still go take pics of the area and look for evidence like prints tracks and hairs.
and like bill from Connecticut always drills into everyone. ALWAYS TAKE THE CAMERA WITH YOU. LEAVE IT IN THE CAR. YOU CANT TAKE A PIC IF YOU DONT HAVE A CAMERA!!!
Thanks for the shutterbug advice….my Cybershot has optical zoom and takes wonderful photos in several resolutions and formats….but it takes 30 seconds or so from the case to the click…I’m sure operator error is part of the problem…LOL
I have two digitals, a Minolta 35mm SLR and a Ruger GP 100 .357 in my Tundra center console…anyone know where I can get a laser grip for the Ruger….Crimson Trace doesn’t offer them.

I dunno, my Nikon takes me about 5 seconds from case to shoot… (mind you, the thing powers up in “.2” of a second, and the lens i have on it can focus in under half a second), and the case i carry it in is just a basic hard cover, plus i dont keep the lens cap on whilst is in its case (since its protected by a cheap UV filter, and its in the case which offers additional protection)… so it helps rapid “ooh, look! pretty!” .. click click.
I find the more features you try and pack into a camera, the less well it performs at its primary purpose.. Which is taking photos. My mid range Fujifilm digital compact has all that funky stuff, photo, sound, video, etc… But it takes worse photos than my low end 35mm SLR, which cost half the price…
My low end 35mm SLR outperforms my Digital SLR, which cost me about 4x more… funny that.
that was great. I can just see that happening too. kinda makes you wonder why people can’t at least get a clear photo. thanks for the laugh
I think he is as hard to photograph as it is to get people (bfro) to believe in a sighting, right down to exact directions, road conditions and weather.
I think that a lot of effort goes into overthinking the subject just to prove his existence. Just ask someone who has seen him/it. Good luck and I hope you’re the one to get the rock solid photo proof!
That Was 2 funny!!!!
Very funny comic and the even more convincing as a drawing than the Wisconsin BF video. What’s up with that?
