Last week I reported here on Cryptomundo that on the search engine Dogpile, the phrase "Bigfoot Sightings" was the top 5 search word or phrase that day.

Hot on the heels of the Wisconsin Bigfoot news, on Monday, the phrase "Wisconsin Bigfoot" was the Favorite Fetch, the top search term or phrase, of the day.
About Craig Woolheater
Co-founder of Cryptomundo in 2005.
I have appeared in or contributed to the following TV programs, documentaries and films:
OLN's Mysterious Encounters: "Caddo Critter", Southern Fried Bigfoot, Travel Channel's Weird Travels: "Bigfoot", History Channel's MonsterQuest: "Swamp Stalker", The Wild Man of the Navidad, Destination America's Monsters and Mysteries in America: Texas Terror - Lake Worth Monster, Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot: Return to Boggy Creek and Beast of the Bayou.
the more the general public looks into and talks about the subject to more people will feel confident about coming forward with their sightings and encounters.
the flip side, and there is always a flip side, is we will have more mary green and tom biscardi types who haven’t a clue but want the attention focused on them.
the challenge is to try to steer the machine away from the cooks and to the more respectable and genuine people. its too bad every time we hear florida we hear of david shealey. im tired of hearing about mary green, janice coy the carter farm and fox the garlic eating talking bigfoot.
the attention these people and events generate are only harmful. i guarantee just about every new person who looks deeper into bigfoot research the whole carter farm crap and really think they found something till they learn the truth. people then see tom biscardi on the news and find another dead end. many get frustrated or dejected and stop but the rest learn from the experience and become knowledgeable productive members of the search.
i hate that the surface of bigfoot is people like biscardi but i love the fact that they are looking. in the end it can only help and like they say any publicity is good publicity.
i guess biscardi is better than those who push the ufo driving shape shifting inter-dimensional portal traveling mind controlling vanishing bigfoot.
hey Craig, very interesting article about Wisconsin sasquatch.
“i hate that the surface of bigfoot is people like biscardi”
Unfortunately, crap floats.
Hey All,
It’s amazing how this Wisconsin thing has gotten so much media coverage and yet at other times, sightings seems to get none or negative publicity. Unfortunately when Biscardi gets done, it will be more than likely negative also.
