Another Interesting Game Camera Photo
Posted by: Craig Woolheater on June 8th, 2006
As several have commented on the Ohio Bigfoot Game Camera Photo? topic, there are several interesting photos on the source site.
Here is one presumably from Arkansas, more than likely from a bear.
But you can envision this shot being of a Bigfoot…can’t you?

I think it is a bear too, he is facing the right with his head down, and we are looking at his upper arm. But I know what you mean. It looks as though it could be the back of bigfoot (with a bald spot at the top of his back), and he has his left arm raised up, and his right arm at his side. So that begs the question: if the photo is a bear, shouldn’t his belly(the fur at the top of the frame, left of arm)be hanging down-gut style. It could be a skinny bear, but that bear arm looks pretty stout. Yarri
Bear.
I don’t even have to think about it. When I see that picture I see a bear. The fur coloration and pattern match a bear perfectly. Why is there even a question?
Before everyone goes crazy, the guy who took the photo has a web page with several bears on it, albeit the photos are 4 yrs apart.
Whatever it is it is definitly the back because you can tell by the way the hair grows out from the midline.
Likely a bear standing with back to camera. I agree though that the L “arm” might be hard for a bear to do, but I am not sure. On above website there is a pic of 2 bears standing/fighting and one has his L arm out to the side. Also could be another bear hidden behind what we see with its arm to the left of the pic. If you look close it appears that the medial aspect of that “arm” is in a different plane then the rest.
Because of hair pattern I don’t think the middle of pic is a limb because the limbs of mammals have the hair line on the dorsal aspect. (like elbow side).
Also look at site above and bears have a hairline along the midline of the back.
Common things being common its a bear, but if we want to go down Squach road then I would say a juvenile walking in front of camera with L arm out (holding moms hand) and right arm swinging back. You can sort of see the R side of the “thorax” pushed in somewhat.
I go with bear.
Who’s next?
Oh yea, for Squatch comments I forgot to tell you guys one thing…Squint your eyes.
most definitly a black bear sitting or standing.
Black Bear, probably the less furry area is near the armpit and the bear is standing or sitting and reaching up for some reason.
Bear probably. Checked out the sight has some neat photos their.
I am going to take this one from a different angle. I am going to say that it is a MALE bear.
Bet you all didn’t see that coming.
How about a close-up of the back of a guy’s head?…From the right-hand side, slightly behind. Note the top/back of the ear in the lower right corner…not only that, you can see his male-pattern baldness starting (lol)as well as a bad combing job of the sides of the head (feathered back).
I’m just guessing this because that’s how I used to look in pictures (from the side) before i shaved my head…lol!
…or a bear…lol!
People, listen! It is a raccoon! Note the distance between the two arms!
It’ not a racoon; I’ve never seen or heard of black racoons. It’s a black bear-probably young and curious. The balding area is around the sternum leading up towards the bottom of the neck.
In all fairness my first thought is baby black bear. But looking at it I can see straight away that the camera is on the ground. This is a wild boar. If you look closely at the area behind the date/time stamp you can see the leading edge of the left ear. and what everyone sees as the “arm/leg” is actually the right ear. The ridge of hair running down the center of the head is not atypical of wild boars in the southeastern US, much like a part in the hair. The boar is obviously smelling the guy who handled the camera, he probably carried food or baiting scents before setting the unit.
