Bigfoot, NASA, late night Mexican Food and Gassy Skunk Apes
Posted by: Craig Woolheater on October 31st, 2005
What do these 4 items have in common? Not much really, other than we took in all 4 this past weekend. We being myself, Alton Higgins, Daryl Colyer and Gino Napoli went to the Houston area to give a presentation at College of the Mainland in League City. This was on Friday night, October 28th.
There were 34 people in attendance and from all indications, they all thoroughly enjoyed the presentation. It was scheduled for 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, but many hung around talking, telling about their experiences until 10 pm. Several eyewitnesses that had previously reported their encounters to us showed up to meet with us as well.

We stayed at the La Quinta just down the road from the Johnson Space Center…NASA. Friday night, after the presentation, and after checking in to our rooms, we went looking around for a decent dinner. At 10:45, we settled on a nice Tex-Mex restaurant named MomAlone. The dinner was very good, and the conversation stimulating, as always. We retired to our rooms around midnight, watching a couple of Bigfoot films and documentaries before Daryl fell sound asleep. How he could fall asleep in the middle of Dave Shealy’s "Ochoppee Skunk Ape", I’ll never know. I guess Daryl won’t know how to apply a proper beanset, nor will he know to get out of there after applying said beanset, as a Skunk Ape that hits a beanset will be gassy…oh well…his loss.
