Happy Birthday!
Posted by: Loren Coleman on October 2nd, 2006
October 2nd is my father’s & my grandfather’s birthday, and October 3rd is my brother Jerry’s birthday. Jerry’s the last one alive in that triad. But there’s another one. The three Coleman brothers. Happy 55th, bro.
As to the Brothers Coleman, they are Bill, Jerry, and that’s me holding the ball. Click on image for a larger version.
Here’s Jerry’s take on "Growing Up Coleman", followed by his book covers.
And for just fun, this cartoon again, as it reminds me of all the picnics with my family in the Midwest. 🙂

About Loren Coleman
Loren Coleman is one of the world’s leading cryptozoologists, some say “the” leading living cryptozoologist. Certainly, he is acknowledged as the current living American researcher and writer who has most popularized cryptozoology in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
Starting his fieldwork and investigations in 1960, after traveling and trekking extensively in pursuit of cryptozoological mysteries, Coleman began writing to share his experiences in 1969. An honorary member of Ivan T. Sanderson’s Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained in the 1970s, Coleman has been bestowed with similar honorary memberships of the North Idaho College Cryptozoology Club in 1983, and in subsequent years, that of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, CryptoSafari International, and other international organizations. He was also a Life Member and Benefactor of the International Society of Cryptozoology (now-defunct).
Loren Coleman’s daily blog, as a member of the Cryptomundo Team, served as an ongoing avenue of communication for the ever-growing body of cryptozoo news from 2005 through 2013. He returned as an infrequent contributor beginning Halloween week of 2015.
Coleman is the founder in 2003, and current director of the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine.
Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday boy or girl!
A happy birthday indeed, if a bit belated. You know, you have the same exact expression as you did when you were a kid, Mr. Coleman.
Happy Birthday!
I saw the name on the book cover, and I thought maybe he was related to you.
Happy birthday, Jerry!
Loren, love the saddle shoes, Daniel Boone fringed jackets and the helmet hats!

Happy Belated B-Day Jerry!
Mystery_man, I highly recommend the books, they are two of the creepiest and interesting books I have ever read.
Well, that “BIGFOOT” does have large “feet”, that “are” larger than “boulders”.
