Update: 40th Anniversary Bigfoot Symposium
Posted by: Craig Woolheater on May 9th, 2007
The event will be held on October 20 & 21, 2007 in Arcata, CA.
There are a few updates on the 40th Anniversary Bigfoot Symposium.
There has been two additonal confirmed speakers added to the roster, Autumn Williams of OregonBigfoot.com and Don Monroe. John Miles has apparently been dropped from the list of confirmed speakers.
Perhaps Don Monroe will talk about the Hand of Unknown Origin, or maybe even bring it for Show and Tell.
The list of speakers that they are awaiting confirmation from are:
Dr. Jeff Meldrum
Dr. John Bindernagel
Dr. Henner Fahrenbach
Thoms Steenburg
Bob Gimlin
Patricia Patterson
John Green

hey loren & craig great update article about the 40th anniversary bigfoot symposium which i hope you & the tbrc & cryptomundo staff are able to attend it. among other people who post here as well. good morning bill. be very patient.
I hope all the proposed speakers – and more – make it to this Symposium, as this is indeed an auspicious occasion.
I also encourage Cryptomundo readers to attend – it’s one thing to cruise Reports here on the Web and in videos and books, but quite another to have the opportunity to meet and converse with some of the key players, not to mention immersing oneself in the middle of such an active Sasquatch habitat!
Get to know the key people and locations in this Quest!
I am hoping to attend this event, flying out with my good friend M.K. Davis. I am saving my pennies for it even now. If they can get Mrs. Patterson and Bob Gimlin to attend, it will be that much more special. As far as I know, Mrs. Patterson has never attended a single conference or symposium, so it would be very special if she attended this one. I hope to see you all there!
Why not Loren Coleman?
I would really like to attend. Fuzzy says to check his link for further info, what is his link? Does anyone know the nearest airport to Arcata?
Judy,
Fuzzy’s link was in the first post I made here about the event. It is a link to the Humboldt County reports on the BeeFRO website.
Judy,
Arcata is the location of the regional airport there. When I attended the Sasquatch Symposium in Willow Creek in 2003, I flew from DFW to San Francisco, and then caught a regional flight to Arcata.
Thanks, Craig, I appreciate the help. I am really going to try to make this conference as it sounds like a special one.
