Russian Video Examined on Bigfoot Files Episode 3

Here’s the clip examined in the Bigfoot Files by Mark Evans.
About Craig Woolheater
Co-founder of Cryptomundo in 2005.
I have appeared in or contributed to the following TV programs, documentaries and films:
OLN's Mysterious Encounters: "Caddo Critter", Southern Fried Bigfoot, Travel Channel's Weird Travels: "Bigfoot", History Channel's MonsterQuest: "Swamp Stalker", The Wild Man of the Navidad, Destination America's Monsters and Mysteries in America: Texas Terror - Lake Worth Monster, Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot: Return to Boggy Creek and Beast of the Bayou.
Well, there is a clear cut in the film just prior to the alleged yeti’s appearance. And the tracks are clearly made by a four legged animal. On almost all of the tracks you can see two distinct indentations at the front of the track where two feet dug in. My guess would be a running deer. I’m not seeing whatever Burstev sees. I haven’t seen the Bigfoot Files episode, so I don’t know what their conclusions were.
Craig I tend to be a Redfernite where these critters’re concerned and have absolutely no problem with the idea of ’em having X-Men style abilities.
The critter above though I suggest’s more of an ex-man.
Either that or the buggers’re so flimsy lookin’ an’ easy to creep up on these days they must be goin’ mush brained.
There is a part that seem spliced in that film, it goes from not being visible to standing in the opening in frame. Don’t know if it’s the camera or it was spliced but it jumps.
A few problems:
1. Alleged tracks don’t appear to have anything that resembles footprints in them.
2. For a supposedly wary/hyper-aware/reclusive creature, this Alma(?)lets those noisy children, approaching through a wide-open expanse of field, get pretty close before moving away.
3. I’m kinda on the fence re the kids’ reactions: I don’t speak Russian, so no idea what they’re saying. However, their nervous laughter at the very end seems like a legitimate response. Then again, they don’t seem truly scared & it just doesn’t seem to jibe with the utter terror that many witnesses report upon encountering Bigfoot or its cousins.
In any case, not enough detail to offer much in the way of “proof” one way or the other. Bring me a body!
On the programme, when the boys were interviewed by Mark Evans and Nikolai Valuev, the consensus was that they were telling the truth.
Personally, I thought the movements of the creature, when it discovered it had been seen, was quite convincing. Also I thought that the noises the children made when they were running away sounded as though they really were frightened.
It’s impossible to be certain in these things but I quite liked that one.
The footprints appear to me to look like someone (a young boy maybe?) hopped across the snowfield.
Is it me? Or does the stride length seem very short? Unless Bigfoot shuffles in the snow, barely taking a 1 foot stride, leads me to believe these tracks were not made by any Bigfoot.
Actually, the tracks look like they were made by an animal of the four legged kind.
If that is not enough, Igor Burtsev thinks it is an adult carrying a young Bigfoot. That seals it for me, and not in a good way. As you all might remember, Jeff Meldrum went to a cave and thinks that Burtsev planted evidence and more or less, dismissed the whole thing. Igor is kind of sketchy when it comes to Bigfoot and things surrounding Bigfoot. He is Russia’s answer to Tom Biscardi–just not as devious.
cmon man,
ANOTHER crap video.
how the hell can someone say that was a bigfoot?
what drugs are they ingesting or smoking?
For someone to say that was a bigfoot, that person has ZERO credibility…. ZERO.
its just nonsense…. again.
All of the comments here on this thread seem to have merit. One thing I will say though, I think the kid’s reaction in this was fairly realistic as they ran away as soon as they got a glimpse of whatever it was.
If it was a planned fake, they would probably have not put as much effort into running so fast and they would probably have lingered a bit more than what they did on the subject as we only get a very brief glimpse of whatever it was. As far as the stride and tracks, who knows? Perhaps it was fake, or perhaps this was a real Yeti or Almasty and it was old or injured. All kinds of possible explanations here.
I immediately noticed the stride length and though “About what we’d expect from an under-5 1/2 foot tall adolescent human.” The tracks were quite wide and appeared very similar to those made by my daughter when she was about 4 years old when we got her some little kids snowshoes.
As for the comment about suggesting the tracks resembled those of a deer, perhaps were you distracted as you typed and meant to write “bear” instead? Deer tracks are so much smaller than those tracks (literally 1/8 the size or less) that I cannot imagine anyone familiar with deer tracks in the wild could have confused what the video showed with tracks made by a deer.
AIIIEEE… walking in the footprints! Two-lobed footprints. Fingers nearly always in front of the lens! A blobsquach!!
All of which I find more disturbing than anything the film may or may not depict.
If there was anything of value in the film, it’s utterly ruined. Am I the only one hoping there’s not a “stabilized version” in the works in the days ahead?
I suppose there’s a modicum of “this is how NOT to film an Almasty/Kaptar ‘evidentiary’ ‘encounter’.”
Very interesting footage. Just by looking at the footprints, it was hard to make out a sasquatch, but it had some squatch-like characteristics like the foot prints being in a straight line. The creature itself was hard to tell if it was a bear, or a yeti, but nonetheless there is a possibility of it being a yeti. I am certain that the creature was first standing, and it went down to all fours when it went away, but both yetis and bears stand on its hind legs and also go down to all fours so it was difficult to tell. I’m also not sure how differently yetis act compared to sasquatches so I am definitely not an expert about this film.
