Wunnumin Lake Bigfoot Photo

Wunnnumin Lake photo with different stories attached.
Multiple Bigfoot have been witnessed near Wunnumin Lake. Wunnumin Lake is a remote Oji-Cree First Nation’s community located 360 km north of Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Canada.
In Wawatay News Online, a first nation news source. They report on multiple encounters by different witnesses in the area. The picture above is attached to the article with a caption.
This photo, captured by a young girl while on vacation in Wunnumin Lake this past August, has been circulating around the internet and fueling speculation of a family of Bigfoots living near the community.Wawatay News Online
This is a different story that circulated around the photo last month at Phantoms & Monsters:
I received this photo from my colleague David Garrison [who received from a Jeff Cromarty]…it was forwarded to him by a boy who captured the image while fishing at Wunnimin Lake in Ontario, Canada.Phantoms & Monsters
The Phantoms & Monster reference seems to be a grapevine of, “he got it from this guy.” The Wawatay News Online may be more accurate. Regardless this photo is only one of several other Wunnumin Lake area Bigfoot stories. You can read the other encounters at Bigfoot Lunch Club.

I wish the image wasn’t blurry. It looks pretty good from what I can see, but there are two things I have a problem with. First, the head seems wrong. Too large, not conical, etc. It just *looks* to me like a person in a mask. Second, the arms look really short in relation to the rest of the body. Looking at it next to Patty, I don’t think it is the real thing. That’s assuming Patty is legitimate of course.
Seriously, can cameras even TAKE blurry pictures anymore? Wide angle lenses focus to infinity very easily.
HAW HAW HAW! Another schmuck in a ghillie suit! Nothing to see here, folks, outside of attention-seeking, juvenile (mis)behavior!!!
Looks to me like a guy with the hood up on his parka.
Since this kind of misidentification is so easy, it sure makes a person think twice about taking a shot at something that appears to be a bigfoot.
lol.
THIS?
This is what they say is a “bigfoot” and people actually believe it?
cmon.
It looks like it could be a still image from the 70’s Krofft series Bigfoot and Wildboy, or maybe from a docudrama?
First knee-jerk reaction: ghillie suit
It just doesn’t look like an animal/gorilla/bigfoot…but more like man-in-suit.
Looks like someone dressed in a parka.
When it’s that blurry, and could even conceivably be a person (that could way conceivably be a person), there’s only one word.
NEXT!
(If P/G didn’t get this off the schneid, what the heck are these people thinking?)
Sort of looks like might might be a juvenile? Also, several possible associated reasons for blurriness, one or several may apply: Telephoto/manual focus on/taken in a hurry/no anti-shake option or this not turned on/blow-up of larger photo…
The arms are too short. I have to agree that it looks more like a guy in a parka.
The picture is not clear, but it looks like a guy in a Ghillie suit. It just doesn’t look natural to me!! He has not learned the lesson from the Montana Ghillie suit accident!!
I keep seeing the question “can camera’s even take blurrry pictures anymore” i’ve tried 3 cellphones and 2 digital cameras in my house and around my land taking pictures of my dog Joker and ended up with about half of them showing a “blobador”
It looks like Chaka from Land of the Lost. Doesn’t look convincing to me though. 🙁
I don’t see how this is being taken seriously as a potential photo of anything but a thick guy with a beard. Even as blurry as it is, I can pretty plainly see a burly man, with a beard, who, for the most part, doesn’t seem to be that big or tall. He may be a hairy primate, might even live in the woods, but nothing about this picture says bigfoot to me.
It looks like a man in a green jacket with tan pants to me.
LOL….. if anyone posts here that it is or could be anything but a person in a suit, you should get your eyes examined then be placed in a mental hospital.
Looks like another fake. Nothing new here. Gilly suit blob squatch, or perhaps a cheap bigfoot costume. The proportions are too human, so is the posture. Next!
dconstrukt: Um, it could be a mannequin.
Shame about the eye test. Do you like the arms on that jacket extra-extra-extra long, or just extra-extra?
Definitely a fake. The two different stories coming from two different places should tell you that. If someone had a picture they took themselves and saw a Bigfoot in person when they did it, would most likely not be handing it out to random people before giving the originals to news sites and giving them their own real story.
That aside, it doesn’t look like a Bigfoot at all, the very first thoughts were, heads too round, arms are too short, very blurry and out of focus for a subject that appears to be standing still.
Its so blurry, That doesn’t even need to be a costume of any kind just a guy with a lot of hair and thick jacket.
I don’t think this is a hoax or a Bigfoot. I’m going with the man-in-a-parka theory. Everything about the shape screams “human”, including the shape of the head (as already mentioned), the posture, and the pot belly. The arms seem to end in the cuffs of sleeves, rather than in fingers. There’s no way to be sure about the height, but the foreground looks consistent with grass and weeds knee-high to the photographer as well as to “Bigfoot”. It looks like the guy has a full head of hair and a beard, but that doesn’t make him a Sasquatch.
you can *clearly* see his pants…. and his top is a darker color. his arms are proportionate to a normal person…. in fact, the dude in the photo has a bit of a beer belly.
