Fox News’ Megyn Kelly and Bigfoot
Posted by: Craig Woolheater on February 23rd, 2013
Megyn Kelly was acting rather snarky when leading in to the Fox News coverage of the Neches River Bigfoot sighting.
Here’s something you may not know about Megyn, she has a history with Bigfoot.
Hmmm, maybe she has reason to be a little snarky…
About Craig Woolheater
Co-founder of Cryptomundo in 2005.
I have appeared in or contributed to the following TV programs, documentaries and films:
OLN's Mysterious Encounters: "Caddo Critter", Southern Fried Bigfoot, Travel Channel's Weird Travels: "Bigfoot", History Channel's MonsterQuest: "Swamp Stalker", The Wild Man of the Navidad, Destination America's Monsters and Mysteries in America: Texas Terror - Lake Worth Monster, Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot: Return to Boggy Creek and Beast of the Bayou.
like the story–never have liked megyn kelly–Fox facts are about as elusive as Bigfoot
What kind of a man goes on record with the national media flat out lying like Biscardi did on that phoney BF report? If I ever saw that man face to face I would give him an earful. In fact, I would make a scene and would hope it would be in a public place where I could embarass this lying POS. I wish these media folks would have followed up with him and asked him why he was willing to lie and deceive the American Public?
Typical of any reporting on the networks regarding Bigfoot sightings. They show their ignorance when it comes to this topic. A good reporter would get some background information before reporting on a subject. Fox is the worst news going and this dimwit showed how stupid she is!
I saw it was Fox. I read the comments and I agree.
Watch the video? Read anything else? Nah. I’m gonna ‘research’ this one just like Fox does.
This Megyn Kelly person, obviously doesn’t know much, she asks “are they breeding?”. What kind of a question is that? Did she think they grew in cabbage patches?
Extremely unprofessional, she needs to be fired. Someone who may actually do a little research or at least report (introduce) every news story professionally should have her job.
I am from Australia so i did not know Megyn Kelly. After watching a few of her videos, is anyone really surprised, she seems to be a right wing apologist, obviously Homophobic and Religiously bigoted. Her “news” story’s often take so much of a one sided slant as to be more propaganda than actual news.
It is a little weird that the Pro-Christian media wouldn’t take a Pro-Bigfoot attitude, being that it is often erroneously believed by these Christians that if Bigfoot were found it would prove their young-earth myth.
Dr. Melba Ketchum Tweeted this to Ms. Kelly yesterday….maybe she’ll be on there before too long? That could be interesting:)
(BTW–I am not on twitter, this is open for anyone to see, its not private, just google ‘Melba Ketchum on Twitter’ and it will come up…I just want the cryptomundo moderator to know I am not passing out private info, phone numbers etc, this was the exact post, please check it if you wish)
“Dr. Melba Ketchum β@DrMelbaKetchum
@megynkelly . We have DNA proof of Bigfoot with press release. 231-662-5362. [email protected].”
Megyn is a national disgrace. But that kid – he’s terrific. Wish she’d be more like him.
Why don’t we get to see a clear, unadulterated pic of the blobsquatch?
Megyn Kelly puts the “duh” in dork…
To all you Fox haters; do you actually believe that – insert my personal opinion here – the socialist, leftist loons at MSNBC would do this story any differently? Or that any mainstream media outlet (ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN) would report it any differently? Of course they wouldn’t. That has been the problem with media reporting on any subject that has the whiff of the paranormal about it. Think of the last time you saw UFO/ghosts/crypto reports given any credence without the mention of “little green men” or a wink and a nod at the camera about what the observer was drinking for lunch.
I’m not here to defend Fox or Ms. Kelly, but this is what is the norm for nearly all media with very few exceptions.
Cryptozoology is so tongue in cheek to most people, most so called “intellectual” poeple I might add. ;p All the news folks do this when there’s a Bigfoot story, giggling like lil girls on set…
darkhb: Of course you are “here to defend Fox or Ms. Kelly,” because that’s exactly what you attempted to do with the “socialist leftist loons” rant. Faux News is particularly egregious in slanted reporting. Show us some examples from the MAINstream media, which have this same tone. We await, with bated breath.
Well, this is the case with ALL the media-they all pretty much ridicule the subject of Sasquatch regardless of political affiliation of the said network. I will say, in fairness, there was a report done in 2008 by Sean Hannity on the Honey Island Swamp Monster that was very fair and well-done, with no ridicule or mockery. S.E. Cupp of MSNBC is also interested and open-minded when it comes to Sasquatch (She co-hosts The Cycle, which had Bobo on the show a few months back). So there are a few out there who at least try to do a fair job with the subject of Cryptozoology.
Iceman: My intent was not to engage in an idealogical debate about Fox News v. MSNBC or any other media outlet. My personal views aside, I was simply pointing out that with very few exceptions – thank you for remembering those mrbf2007 – the media treats all “paranormal” stories with a wink and a nod. What Megyn Kelly did is all too common among members of the media when it comes to these kinds of stories. Until there is a body on a slab or Klaatu lands on the White House lawn, we can probably expect no less.
And Iceman, please start breathing, you’re beginning to turn blue π
wait for it… wait for it…. ANOTHER blurry, grainy photo that shows …NOTHING…
but its passed on as proof.
this is yet another reason people dont take this seriously.
folks wake up…. when you keep passing this garbage around as “proof” you’re just sabotaging yourselves and the entire bigfoot scene.
Wow, a lot of Fox haters out there in the Crypto world.
We should try to leave our political views out of our passion for Cryptozoology, it only clouds our mind and our unity. We must remember most of society thinks of us as freaks.
dconstrukt: remember, the ‘folks’ you are talking about here are not us ‘folks.’ They aren’t cryptozoologists nor do most of them have a passing acquaintance with the word.
This is what happens when science declines to test an eminently testable hypothesis and leaves the field to the public to sort out for themselves.
Until the mainstream steps in and does its job here – it’s long past due, and any mainstreamer who says otherwise reveals his ignorance – you are gonna get stuff like this.
It’s called ‘human nature.’
DWA … ya… i hear ya… just frustrating.. i mean if you’re gonna make a comment and say you have proof… at least make sure someone can clearly see what the heck it is.
…sometimes you lose sight of the fact the sightings are in the boonies… and the people there… well… they’re not like the rest of us city folk π
dconstrukt:
Well, yeah, and I do admit (as I did on the companion thread to this one) calling people out on submitting pictures of….of…..of, well, something that doesn’t seem to be in the picture.
Maybe as more people get interested in this, they’ll start taking heed of advice that folks present here on the topic of “how to show us what you may have seen. [Hint: if your camera didn’t see it, nice souvenir. For you. Period.]”
darkhb: Am I? Well, do not get too heated, because you’re beginning to look a little red, in the neck (lol).
