Bigfoot Given No Quarter

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on October 5th, 2005

The State Quarter Commission announced the five finalists for the Washington State quarter. While there were some creative entries, such as Bigfoot, the ubiquitous banana slug, UFO’s over Mt. Ranier and even our fine furred friend, Bigfoot. Even harder to believe is that while lattes made the list, the even more ubiquitous Starbucks or Microsoft did not.

I’d love too see Pearl Jam’s album cover for Vs. on the quarter.

  2. Melissa responds:

If they actually put BigFoot on a quarter – isnt that like the government acknowledging the animals exhistance,, or close enough for them to not do it? lmao. Yeah, I dont see bigfoot on anything, even closely related to the government anytime soon — but can you imagine?? I would personally think it would be great. Beats the heck out of one more picture of Bill Gates. 🙂
