Skunk Ape Documentary

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on February 28th, 2007

Loren has previously written about this documentary, Footprints, here on Cryptomundo.

We had requested, and were initially promised, a review copy for Cryptomundo.

However, on January 24, 2007, we received the following reply to our latest request:

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your interest in our documentary “Footprints”, we are delighted to share with you that it has been accepted and will be featured at the New York Film Festival 2007, which will take place in Los Angeles the week of March 1-8, for this reason we will not be able to provide you with a full copy of it. However we will be happy to provide you with a trailer, so please forward your name and address so we can send it to you as soon as possible. Once again thank you for your interest and support.

Sincerely,

Footprints Crew
(Kir)

Below is the trailer as posted on youtube.

I wonder if there is any mention of the Skunk Ape’s favorite delicacy, the lima beam, in this documentary?

Looks like the movie’s over-dramatized, but definitely something I’m going to look into.

    Cool.
    Interdimensional Bigfoot lives!

  5. tapper responds:

Ahhh yes, the New York Film Festival in LA, showing such soon-to-be classics as “Tramp Tango” and “Holy Sh*t,” both of which are sure to be Oscar nominees.

Re. the trailer, what filmmaking genius created this? I’m on the edge of my seat, and don’t think I’ll be able to sleep until I’m able to see this one in its entirety.

Honestly, folks. Aren’t we all sick of the same crap “documentaries” being pushed out by hacks? I’m still recovering after viewing the last two. At least Discovery Channel quit airing them every other day.

I got it: Why not read a book about the subject or, better yet, spend a couple of hours in a sighting hotspot? God forbid we’d actually investigate with ourselves or with others beyond the comfort of our sofas and Tivo’s.

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
