Woodenbong. Why not just call the place Stonerville, ferpetesake.
The story, oh right. Interesting, if true.
DWA Not every name has relevance, I know as I lived there for many years.
This woman sounds credible.Not one word comes across like “bad acting”. The able interviewer set some subtle traps for her in terms of consistency, but she came through very well. Isn’t it interesting how we quite often get very believable eyewitness accounts, from people who sound intelligent and real.As opposed to the videos, which are either worthless or clearly faked, with commentators who are either outright liars or at the least self-aggrandizing morons.
marcodufour: easy now, there. Humor. Humor.
Peter Von Berg: maybe not so surprising. Most video – practically all – I see is either a blatant joke or done by naïve people who think they can make something convincing. (And I suppose lots of reactions give them that confidence.) Most eyewitness accounts, the witness is on the grill; they have nothing at all to offer but their story. Either it’s right or they are very very good; and I doubt few, if any, of us are THAT good, or would pick this to be our proving ground if we were.
Really, folks that good have millions to make from embezzlement. Why waste time on this?
Wow. On listening I have to say:
1) that questioner is one of the best in the field, period;
2) either this woman saw a yowie…or she is making A LOT OF MONEY somehow involving lying.
I pick
3) I might have to start accepting the possibility that bigfoot’s in a lot of places. Because that is what this sounds like.
“This woman sounds credible.Not one word comes across like “bad acting”.”
Of course – we Aussies (politicians excepted) never lie . . .
Bit far from where I live (Sydney) , but I might go and check out that area near Wentworth Falls (January 30th) sometime, which by the way is in our own “Blue Mountains” less than 2 hours away.
