Media: Attack of the Show

Posted by: Loren Coleman on December 6th, 2005

I will be on Attack of the Show on the g4tv network on Tuesday, December 13, 2005.

The program is an innovative popular culture talk show for the video and computer gaming folks, who happen to include my two elder adolescent sons (Caleb and Malcolm). Perhaps unknown to older cryptozoologists, the gaming world is populated by all kinds of creatures based upon cryptids. For some reason, the Yeti or Yeti-like creatures seem to be extremely popular.

What most people furthermore might not realize, as opposed to the myth that only boys are playing games on their Playstation 2s, X-Box 360s, and Game Cubes, is that about half of the computer gamer crowd is female.

I’ll be appearing, talking about cryptozoology, my Cryptomundo.com blog, my books, like Bigfoot!, and perhaps even the Duel Masters/Wizards of the Coast’s Cryptozoologists-In-Training photo contest.

On the program, I’ll probably be also discussing Mothman, since, after all, how cool is the coincidences with the crew that runs this show? The photo here is the guy that is the segment producer (a/k/a Mike Shaw) for my appearance, dressed in his favorite Batman outfit. And as fate would have it, the name "Mothman" was coined by a 1966 Ohio copyeditor who was in love with the television series, "Batman." Truly, one does measure a circle, beginning anywhere, especially if you are detailing on Cryptomundo yee ole Attack of the Show topics like Batman, Mothman, and Bigfoot.
