A family out for a drive in Craven, Saskatchewan, were shocked to see a hair-covered biped walking on a hill beside the road. They quickly took out their camera and filmed the creature as it walked into the bushes. This is their footage. It is clear, showing a biped, brown all over, with a conical head and long arm. Could be a real Sasquatch?

From William Dranginis of Virginia Bigfoot Research Organization:
As a FLIR trained Thermographer out of FLIR’S Infrared Training Center in Billerica Mass., and having used thermal imaging in my own Bigfoot research, it’s my opinion that the Stacy Brown thermal Bigfoot footage is a hoax.

As I discussed back in 2011 here on Cryptomundo about the same complaints about Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot: Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot: Research or Entertainment?, I offer my thoughts on 10 Million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty.

A day or two before July 9, 2013, a man named Pak Jintan observed an orang pendek from his farm near Hulu Batang Barau. The creature was walking on two legs along the edge of his farm near the jungle around 3 o’clock in the afternoon. He described it has being approximately one meter tall (39 inches), yet having a large body. This can be interpreted as meaning very massive for its size. The creature’s fur was described as grey and long. After the creature disappeared into the forest, Pak Jintan went to where he saw the creature and found at least one footprint (it is not known how may prints were observed since only one was photographed).

The team travels to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to investigate a photo of a sasquatch. With witnesses in this region claiming bigfoots have been stalking them, the team deploys a U.P. delicacy in hopes a sasquatch has the same appetite as the locals.

As many of you know I am a skeptic. Or maybe I should say skeptical in that I filter everything and come to conclusions based on certain criteria that evidence must have in order for me to entertain it. I also take the approach in a philosophical manner as I try and explain sometimes our collective need for creatures that go bump in the night and the mysterious. I do believe, even if there is no such thing as Sasquatch we would have created him (or something like him) as therapy for our own questions of the unknown, our fears and just our own desires to tell stories in colorful ways. Luckily though I think there may really be something out there, but as things are, our hobby is riffled with bad science, bad evidence and even worse people and that is why many in the mainstream discount and even scoff at the whole notion.
