Tonight at 7pm EST, the Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of the next two Small Town Monsters films will kick off. A slew of rewards are already set for backers including a Mothman t-shirt and poster by Sam Shearon, a Small Town Monsters poster by Matt Harris (featuring the titular monsters of the first four STM films) DVD copies of both “Mothman” and a fifth STM film titled, Invasion on Chestnut Ridge. There are also collectibles in the form of a Madballs-style Mothman head courtesy of toyline, Cryptorbs, and a Mothman statue designed and sculpted by Jean St Jean and put out by CreatuReplica. You can also get your name in the credits of both films or, for high level backers, get an executive producer credit.
To celebrate the launch of the Kickstarter, Small Town Monsters is hosting a Facebook Live Launch Party starting at 6:50 pm EST and going until 8:30 pm EST. Some of the STM crew will be taking questions from the live audience and discussing their films and the cases they’ve looked into live from WCR 97.1 FM Studios in Wadsworth, Ohio.
Stay tuned to their Facebook page for more information. The Kickstarter page goes live at 7pm tonight.
