Former police detective has an interesting encounter.

While this is an interesting encounter, when I hear someone say the BF was “12 or 13 feet” tall, my eyes glaze over. I have serious doubts a bipedal hominid’s skeletal structure could handle the sort of weight that would accompany that height, not to mention be able to efficiently move through brush and wooded areas.
Simply put, it seems impossibly huge.
