Bigfoot Museum Exhibit or He always follows the Riverwalk
Posted by: Craig Woolheater on November 30th, 2005
An exhibit titled "Bigfoot in Texas" opens at the University of Texas at San Antonio Institute of Texan Cultures on April 7, 2006. This is a collaboration between the university museum, the Texas Bigfoot Research Center and Chris Murphy. On display will be the exhibit that Murphy assembled for the Vancouver Museum last year, which was chronicled in his book, Meet the Sasquatch. There will be a regional addition as well, an exhibit compiled by the TBRC covering evidence, information and material from the 4-state region of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas & Louisiana. The exhibit is scheduled to run through July 30, 2006.
One weekend a month during the exhibit run, there will be a half day long program, with 3 to 4 presentations by renowned individuals in the field. Opening weekend, April 7-8, will be a special event, with an after hours tour of the exhibit with several of the big names in Bigfoot research, as well as a catered dinner at the museum.
Stay tuned for details.
