Cohomo Monster: 1972

Posted by: Loren Coleman on November 6th, 2006

Posted by: Loren Coleman on November 6th, 2006

Here’s the photo of the dolphin that goes with the story previously noted here of the dolphin with "extra legs," actually fins, apparently. AP This photo, released by the Taiji Whale Museum, highlights the extra set of fins. The tail is being held by a diver whose hand is visible at upper right.

Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on November 6th, 2006

The Trades, a website that apparently reviews all forms of media, has posted a review of Jeff Meldrum’s book. And with all this talk about Jeff Meldrum, I thought it was a good time to post it. The review claims that Meldrum exhibits his bias towards the existence of Bigfoot. Well yeah, that is his […]

Hoodwinked in Arizona

Posted by: Loren Coleman on November 6th, 2006

Who is hoodwinking whom? The Associated Press is carrying a summary article out of Arizona, telling of Tom Biscardi (above) going on an expedition there. The piece leaves out any examination of Biscardi’s past and is a chopped up version of a longer article, which is found below. But what is the background story on […]

The Waters of Loch Ness are Now Cleaner than Ever

Posted by: John Kirk on November 6th, 2006

As a Scot living in self-imposed exile in Canada, the memories of Scotland are always in the periphery of my thoughts. I have wonderful memories of the Highlands and the wondrous landscapes I have laid my eyes upon. I am particularly fond of the great Great Glen and its spectacular beauty and am always concerned […]

Posted by: Loren Coleman on November 5th, 2006

Neandertals left their tracks, above, behind. Have they interacted with modern humans in contemporary times, and left behind much more? Here is a list of […]

Dolphin With “Remains of Back Legs”

Posted by: Loren Coleman on November 4th, 2006

Not cryptozoological, but considering what’s been discussed today, it seemed worth sharing: Japanese researchers said Sunday [November 4, 2006] a bottlenose dolphin captured last month has an extra set of fins that could be the remains of back legs, providing further evidence ocean-dwelling mammals once lived on land. Fishermen captured the four-finned dolphin off the […]
