Most witnesses who encounter sasquatches at close range note that they do not observe the sclera, or the white part of the eye surrounding the iris. While prospecting for Gems in bushland, two men smell a foul odour and hear something near their car, yet nothing can be seen.
As they were leaving the site, driving towards Inverell, they both witness a 7-8ft Yowie standing on the side of the road. The creature turns and looks at the oncoming car before running into the bush at great speed. It can still be seen running through the sparse trees for some time as they slowed to watch it.

Bobo begins the story by tracing his own journey before tracking back to Irwin Supple, a mid-twentieth century witness, and giving a brief history of early American encounters along with the science so far: from DNA and primate forensics to state-of-the-art audio and imaging technologies. Behind-the-scenes stories about the show (including Monkey) reveal how the team got there and where they’re going. Bobo explains what you can do to become an effective squatcher—including no-tech wilderness camping, infrared and thermal imaging, casting, and scenting—all while promoting wilderness preservation, team work, personal safety, and respect for private property.
