Finding Bigfoot: Season 3 Premiere Sunday Night

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on November 9th, 2012

Season 3 of Finding Bigfoot premieres Sunday night at 9PM E/P with a special episode, Meet the Squatchers:

Go behind the scenes with the Finding Bigfoot Team. For the first time ever, Matt, Cliff, Bobo, and Ranae reveal untold stories of their quest. Meet guests; see unaired footage; and learn what’s next for the team, including startling new evidence.

Then at 10PM E/P, Ripped from the Headlines:

The team travels to Idaho to investigate video evidence that has recently garnered national media attention. Trying a new, innovative baiting technique, Bobo devises an unusual plan that just might prove this mystery to be true.

Based on the episode description, I imagine that they will be investigating this video: Idaho Bigfoot Video

Starting at 9AM E/P on Sunday morning, there is a marathon of previous episodes all day leading into the premiere The two new episodes also repeat directly after their first showing.

A large shady creature which appears to be a Bigfoot is spotted walking through the trees across a canyon. Before we began filming the figure could be seen walking through the clearing of snow just to the left of the trees.Published on Mar 13, 2012 by Lukeking327

Great news for Sasquatch enthusiasts everywhere! Early this afternoon, Animal Planet announced a whopping TWENTY new episodes of its hit series Finding Bigfoot set to premiere Sunday, November 11th at 10PM E/P.

One big change of pace this go around is that for the first time, the team expand their search in North America and beyond to investigate the sasquatch phenomenon known as “yowies” in Australia and the “orang-pendek” of Indonesia.

In addition to their global jaunts, the team members will participate in a special “pre-show” special airing Sunday, November 11th at 9PM E/P before the premiere episode. Moderated by Animal Planet executive producer Keith Hoffman (you may recognize Keith from his Hillbilly Handfishin’ adventures). The special brings the team together in an informal setting to discuss the investigations in greater detail and to provide insights and tips not shared in the show.

Which location are you most excited for? What sorts of questions would you love to see the team answer? Sound off in the comments!Grace Suriel

  1. DWA responds:

    [facepalm]

Yet another piece of evidence that one doesn’t even have to watch this show to hate it.

Why can’t BFRO and Animal Planet just see what a boon to its programming actually confirming the sasquatch would be, and take all the money that goes into putting this crap on and spend it on actual field research?

  2. squatchman responds:

    I can’t wait till Sunday!!

  3. Goodfoot responds:

I can’t wait either. To watch The Walking Dead, instead of this mess!!

  4. dconstrukt responds:

I’m interested to see this show… but man… considering their “expertise”, you’d expect them to at least find something going out all those times…

  5. DWA responds:

    dconstrukt:

    I wouldn’t.

The way they’re doing this, I wouldn’t expect them to find a fox or coyote, let alone Bigfoot.

When biologists are looking for something, they let the data lead them to the places to look. These guys appear to go to the places that offer the best local homebrew. They’re not even using their own database.

But they aren’t scientists, and they’re looking for ratings more than Bigfoot. So this isn’t surprising.

  6. CDC responds:

Wow, talk about your 15 minutes of fame

When this show first came out, every Sunday night the posts began on this site about the content of each episode…now, a new season began on Sunday and it’s already late Monday night and nothing about Finding Bigfoot. Even on the home page? Nothing?

I guess bashing the show became unpopular with the “in crowd”, but yet, I can’t help but wonder why no one cares to discuss any evidence the show presented last night.

Matt Moneymaker, if you still visit this site, I want to apologize to you for some of the comments I made about you last year. After watching your producer Keith Hoffman on the early Finding Bigfoot last evening, I can see Matt that you were dealing with a producer who admittedly did not care about the audience.

I still believe you have not a clue about how to find this animal…but I will admit that you were not responsible for any of the misleading, staged, and faked, evidence your producer put on that show

  7. Craig Woolheater responds:

    CDC,

You just didn’t wait long enough…

I was waiting for Cliff to post his field notes from the episode.

    Here is the post.

    Craig

  8. dconstrukt responds:

    DWA

ya…. always wondered that… why not use data we know about and see where the patterns are.

i’m willing to bet a donut there’s a significant pattern if the right data is used.

i’d assume you can get data from sightings…. from food sources…. weather… etc. and plot it all on a map with specific software.

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
