Posted by: Steve Kulls on April 3rd, 2014

April Fools joke or not a story yesterday emerged from Ratcliffe, Texas where some intrepid commenters have solved the mystery more accurately than the state biologist, Brent Ortego contacted to watch the film and throw an opinion.

As the story begins a local couple there caught something in their live capture trap, and what they saw in the cage they weren’t expecting.

Chupa

The Biologist Ortego claimed that “The animal in the cage as best I can tell from the view is some sort of a small canine.”

There is no such thing as a Chupacabra. The people who reported the original sightings have said they made it up.

actually the holes in the cage are 3 feet! yes, we are looking at a beast over 18 feet tall!

  8. Raven Storm via Facebook responds:

This is what I said yesterday on a post > “This is an image of a hairless raccoon, caught by a wildlife officer in Florida. It is a raccoon without hair, not one with mange. Maybe news outlets need to go back to doing some research before airing a segment and feeding in to peoples ignorance. So the animal this couple caught is more likely a raccoon.”

  9. Carol Gravley via Facebook responds:

    Raccoon. Ugh.

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
