Viral Video Claims To Show Sasquatch In Spartansburg Forest

Could it be Sasquatch in a Spartansburg forest? Last Thursday, a video surfaced on international Bigfoot tracking website Squatchable dot com, showing what’s claimed to be a Sasquatch in the woods of Spartansburg. The footage was taken during the spring of 2014 and while anything’s possible, it is this newsman’s belief that it is a man in a gorilla suit. Source
While out for a walk in search of a bigfoot, in the Spartansburg PA woods, a creature came up over a hill, a woman pulled out her phone cam and started recording!

I hope Thinker Thunker gets a hold of this video and does his forensic analysis of it.
The giveaway here, in my opinion, is that when wild creatures encounter humans, they almost always move AWAY from the human. Maybe not directly away, but they choose a path which will steadily increase the distance between themselves and the human. The “creature” in this video paces slowly back and forth along the same plane, never getting any further away from the person with the camera, as if to provide as much screen time as possible. I’m not buying it.
I agree that this is someone in an ape suit. The Bigfoot seems too comfortable with their presence there.
Interesting video. I would note that I’ve never seen a reddish-brown gorilla suit, but I suppose they could exist. The figure looks very tall, unless it’s up hill, which at the end of the video, it clearly isn’t.
Then again, we have the classic “sighting” occurrence. At the very end of the video, when the creature is about to emerge from the trees, and we can all get a better shot of it, the tape suddenly slows to a stop. There is also the problem with behavior. I don’t think a creature adapted to the forest would simply walk in one direction, then retrace it’s steps across a potential pursuers field of view, in order to evade said pursuer.
That said, there is some tree peeking, and the location is MON Pennsylvania, mostly farms, but lots of wooded areas. Those wooded areas do not go on for miles, but are kind of spotty. So if it was a Bigfoot, it might have started in one direction then realized there was no way out, and then had to double back.
All in all could be real, not enough either way.
loved watching it in the beginning…
with video being so easy to hoax, i’m afraid the odds are so stacked against anything real video wise coming out where you can say YES 100% that is a friggin’ bigfoot.
even if we had a video like this and say this one was real… you can’t really tell anything about the thing.
i mean, the odds of seeing one of these things… think about that.
then the odds that you either are in the frame of mind to whip out your go pro, iPhone, android etc. while not crapping in your pants…
and maybe you might only see it for a split second.
so the odds are so minuscule, you’d have much better odds than winning the lotto.
the howls in OK from an earlier post were mental… best stuff I’ve heard in a while
I find it ever-interesting that the cameraman does an admirable job of holding the camera still – when the subject is NOT in the frame. When in frame, it’s the jiggles.
