Nessie: The Photo Issue
Posted by: Nick Redfern on November 26th, 2013
In a new article titled “The Problem With Nessie Photographs,” Roland Watson notes the following…
“You might think the title suggests this is an article about debunking Loch Ness Monster photographs. But it is not, it is rather the problems researchers such as myself have in accessing what is presented as evidence for the creature.”
This is a good, solid article that addresses not just the photos purported to show strange creatures in Loch Ness, but certain imagery that remains out of the hands of the research community.

I wish I could explain (or even understand) my own ambivalence over these photos. I am even mildly interested in the Nessie narrative. I just can’t seem to work up any enthusiasm or rejection over these pictures. It’s not often I puzzle myself, but this is an instance of it.
Pareidolia…it’s a b!tch
But I don’t think all Nessie pics are there as. BUT….it is a slippery slop in all paranormal genres.
Thanks for the article Nick.
