Very Compelling Footage of Skunkape/Bigfoot From Lettuce Lake Park Florida

Posted by: Bigfoot Evidence on January 27th, 2015

Last night, a reader of Bigfoot Evidence, Matt M. (no relation to Matt Moneymaker), sent us a video that completely blew our minds. While canoeing in a swamp outside of Tampa, Florida, the witness spotted something “walking” and diving in a gator infested area. He starting filming what he thought was a bear. The only problem is that Lettuce Lake Park is a 240-acre Hillsborough County-run park where bears tend to stay clear from. When the following footage was sent to us, Matt was still unsure of what he filmed. Upon closer inspection, we’ve concluded that this is no bear. Check out the length of its arms and its gate. Yeah — we know bears can walk on their hind legs too, but this does not resemble a bear at all:

Matt wrote the following in an email to BFE:

I was canoeing some of the swamps around Lettuce Lake Park and saw what I thought was a bear. I told a park ranger about it and she said that bears don’t generally get into the swamp and that there were never many sightings in general. I showed her the video and she said she didn’t know what it was. I saw the Fox13 story about the bigfoot a few weeks ago that mayor said Bob Buckhorn made a statement about and thought this might be related in some way. I never put much faith in the old skunk ape legends but when I looked closer I noticed that it had long, swinging arms and moved through very thick swamp with ease. Certainly can’t explain it myself. I didn’t get very close but I hope that this footage can be enlarged.-Matt

Matt agrees with us that if it’s a person, “they are either a moron or completely insane”. “They are walking, swimming and diving in an area where there are hundreds of 12 foot gators and water moccasins everywhere. I was there watching it for a while. Seemed to notice me and walked toward deeper water. It went underwater and vanished. Paddled up there and it was nowhere to be seen.”

best video I’ve seen… in god knows how long!

    head is somewhat pointy

    LONG arms, lots of hair.

    weird gait.

and no person is stupid enough to walk in the water there with gators and whatnot.

wait. it is florida and you’ve seen all the crazy things people have done in the state… so anything is possible LOL 🙂

all kidding aside… that looks CRAZY!

but that said, since hurricane andrew came and destroyed south fla in the mid 90’s… there are lots of animals that have gone into the wild… apes etc.

so who’s to say thats not one of them?

but shit, that video looks legit… (hope its not bogus)

  2. Peter Von Berg responds:

Well first of all, if you’re a student of human behavior, you know there ARE a lot of morons out there. But more to the point – I am suspicious of the camera’s constant veering away from its subject. If you’ve got a skunk ape or Bigfoot in your sights wouldn’t you have your video camera glued to it ?

  3. dconstrukt responds:

turn the volume up…. when the guy shooting the video (who is making all kinds of noise) makes the most noise, you can see the ‘thing’ react to it and start to move away… into the water and out of sight.

  4. edsbigfoot responds:

Pretty interesting footage….as good or better than many others (I know, that’s not saying much) 🙂

  5. dconstrukt responds:

    ya, i mean i don’t know…. its interesting video…

part of me is like… the first part and the ending…

    seems too “typical” bigfoot.

and the guy is making so much damn noise.

but then you have the thing there… it’s obviously SOMETHING… looks like hair… it goes into the water… which has to be a few feet tall.

it somehow reacts to his noise.

and it’s walking thru the marsh and water area… very difficult for a person to do… especially in a suit.

plus it’s hot as HELL out there.

if you were in that suit for a while, you’d possibly get heat stroke.

    I dunno.

would love to hear some more from some people…@ Craig… whats your thoughts?

    hear anything thru the grapevine?

  6. chadgatlin responds:

Very compelling. I’m not saying it’s not a bear trying to stay as dry as possible while moving away, but the movements to get up and start moving sure like like a biped. Hope it’s not a guy in a suit, because it is pretty good if it’s not.

  7. Dr Kaco responds:

So now the BFs are NOT nocturnal? HMMMMMM? Fishy
