Will there be a town meeting and a romp in the woods?
Okay,
Now while I often think some of their ideas for attracting Bigfoot are downright nuts…last night they seemed to at least be getting some interest from some creature in the woods…AND then what does Cliff do? He puts his bass away.
WTS? (What the stuff–this is a family blog:) When something is getting a response, you don’t toss it down and run off into the woods…you keep on doing it to see just what kind of interest you can get (granted it well could have been deer or any other mess of animals). But even so, you don’t quit what’s working…
…unless you’re the cast of Finding Bigfoot…
I fell asleep last night. What did I miss? Did they find one? 🙂
@somebodyssquatchingme – YOU MISSED A WHOLE BUNCH, there was a town hall meeting, Renae was being very skeptical, they tried a new tactic, they heard a sound in the woods…..oh wait that’s every episode!! ;p
Here’s what you missed. Ranae being her typical, I can dubunk this without actually debunking anything. Let’s see, paranormal investigator’s report hearing large tree branch snap while doing wood knocks in graveyard. That’s all they heard, nothing else. Paranormal investigators find freshly snapped tree in graveyard. Tree was snapped approx. 8ft. above ground. The tree is a young tree, young trees don’t snap easily. Ranae spends night in graveyard, no activity, checks out snapped tree and can’t make any determination of what happened at this time, good, I’m with you. Checks out tree in morning and debunks it as an act of nature in about 10 seconds. In a nut shell she say’s a tree branch fell from another tree, landing on this tree, breaking the tree and then the branch that broke this tree probably rolled down the hill. Ok Ranae, first of all the tree in question was pretty much vertical, so in order for it to break the branch that hit it to break it would have had to hit it from the side or directly on top of it. Being such a young tree and considering it’s flexibility the tree most likely would have bent and sprung back up. Let’s say a branch did hit it directly, it would have had to been enormous to have snapped this tree the way it did. (I know this because a good friend of mine who watches the show and has been cutting down trees for over 30 years told me this and laughed at her explanation. “she has no clue as to what she is talking about” his words, I trust his facts over her uneducated opinions.) Now if a tree branch fell from another tree on top of this one wouldn’t they have heard this branch snap? Which wasn’t reported. Wouldn’t they have heard the tree branch hit this tree? Which wasn’t reported. Then after snapping the tree, wouldn’t they have heard the tree branch hit the ground????? Which wasn’t reported. Then wouldn’t they have heard this branch roll down the hill?????? (if there was even an actual hill) A hill covered in leaves no less, what was this branch in stealth mode? I would like to add branches do not in general roll down hill, logs do, branches pretty much stay in the area they fell. Once again I ask the BFRO to please find a credible skeptic for your show, this person very rarely debunks anything with legitimacy. As for the recorded sounds I don’t know. Let’s not forget that these animals mimic other creatures most likely to draw them in as prey and are very good at it, a meal may depend on it. You guys in the BFRO draw in Bigfoot’s regularly by mimicking them and thats just for fun, so I wouldn’t be to quick to dismiss all the recording’s you hear.
eyeofstrm:
Classic bigfoot-skeptic debunk. A virtually impossible “mundane” event, yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, that’s it. Muuuuuuuuuuuuun-daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaane. Yeah. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah, that’s the ticket.
Ranae is getting paid, for sure. Either that, or they asked her to Kindly Remove Your Scientist Hat For Ratings Purposes. Thank You For Your Consideration.
