Holy crap! I actually agree with Matt Moneymaker. It looks like a moss covered stump to me too.
I can’t believe he did not proclaim it was a Bigfoot. It is probably going to snow today even the it is in the upper 80s.
I’ve said this before on this website, but I’ll say it again. This is not the late 19th century. We aren’t living in the age of the dawn of photography. Cameras have advanced to the point that even ordinary people come up with pictures they’ve taken of wild animals that can rival the best National Geographic can offer. Even the most reclusive of animals – snow leopards, bonobos, have had fantastic pictures taken of them. There is simply no excuse now for the kind of evidence that we are given to examine as proof of Bigfoot existence. I happen to think they probably do exist. But these stupid hoaxes or incredibly bad examples of photography have simply got to stop. Don’t insult our intelligence.
Moneymaker says; “Squatchyness”? I rate this tripe a 0 – that is zero. Idiotic and undeserving of any serious consideration. I disagree with BoBo, wherever he goes there is a stump present…
Excellent point, Peter. No getting around it. Unless a picture is taken from a considerable distance, where things can get swamped by relative pixel size, or in very low light, there is no good reason for a picture to look as bad as…..
BUT OF COURSE there’s a reason. I lost myself there for a moment. I thought I saw the edge of a hood there. Just sayin’.
My iPhone performs pretty impressively in low light situations. Better than the camera that was used, by a good margin.
