Appropriately credentialed and skilled in the art, she provides a credible narrative concerning her technical approach. Clearly she is the most comfortable with the analysis of mtDNA and that is probably what is tripping up her publication. The comparative analysis of specific gene sequences is what would make the strongest case. She indicates that it does, which is why she can’t really discuss it further, but the number of times she referenced the mtDNA result was a bit concerning. There is 50 years worth of work in comparing antigenic and genetic components of primates. Interested readers should refer to the work of Morris Goodman.
I can see the Teams of what ever organization just hating on this interview. I still have hope on her behalf. And if it takes another 5-10 years then so be it.
I am subscribed to these haters. And I love to listen to the lies they spread. Slandering last time I checked is illegal correct? She seems sincere. These so called Bigfoot researches are smart but are not on her level. I like Dr. Meldrum, Dr. John A. Bindernagel, Grover Krantz. And many more excuse me If I did not mention them. Cops, politicians, city officials. Credible people who want this work to come out. Can we still call them Napes? Seems a bit racist if in deed this work comes out legit. Not at all that the names are bad. But things are going to change big time. I am down w/ real change. Real Change. Not fake people who say they are real. Sorry for the bad grammar. She threw any sort of scientific objectivity out the window when she wailed “They’re people!” It’s a bit early for that.
Have to say Dr. Ketchum sure doesn’t sound like what she’s been portrayed to be.
If the paper is as solid as she says, the mainstream must be freaking out. It will be interesting to see what happens.
