Great. A messageless “message from our sponsor”; 30 seconds of a black box.
There isn’t anything in that photo. Seriously, does anyone believe that a huge hulking ape/hominid could stalk and then catch a deer? A whitetail deer can sprint at over 35 MPH.
The fastest biped on the planet is the ostrich, clocked at just over 42 MPH. They don’t hunt deer anyway. The fastest human ever was clocked at 27-28 MPH. By the way, that is faster than a male gorilla can run. A Bigfoot reportedly weighs 3 times as much as an average male human. What do you think it’s top speed would be? Even in the extremely unlikely event a Bigfoot could ran as fast as man, it still cannot out run and catch a deer. Sneaking up on a deer, if you’re thinking ambush, isn’t easy – just ask a hunter. If the Bigfoot were making a meal from deer carrion, this would make more sense but not much more for an animal that size which is probably spending most of it’s waking time eating to maintain itself.
Take 10 or so photos in the woods and look for the “Bigfoot” lurking somewhere in them. With a little imagination you’ll find one. Maybe two…
cryptokellie: I concur with you on the photo. However, if what has been conjectured is true, that “huge hulking hominid” would have no need of being faster than its prey, simply because a 35 mph deer cannot outrun a 90+ mph rock thrown, presumably, with deadly precision…gotta love those opposable thumbs!
