Behind the Scenes of Finding Bigfoot: “Surf’s Up, Sasquatch” with Cliff Barackman

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on November 23rd, 2013

Santa Cruz is pretty familiar territory for me, having been there probably a few dozen times over the years to visit friends. I had been there two or three times in the past specifically for bigfoot reasons, particularly when I lived in San Francisco, CA back in the late 1990′s. The areas between Big Basin and Pescadero were my target areas, though I ventured as far south as Big Sur. Though I have never run across a bigfoot in the region, I am certain bigfoots are at least part-time residents of the local mountains, and possibly even full-time ones.

Behind the Scenes of Finding Bigfoot: “Return to Boggy Creek” with Cliff Barackman

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on November 13th, 2013

Any bigfooter who was alive in the 1970′s has been influenced to some degree by the movie, The Legend of Boggy Creek. This 1972 pseudo-documentary certainly affected me in a huge way. Little did I know that decades later I would be visiting Fouke, Arkansas in an attempt to run into the Fouke Monster for myself.

Recreating the Sasquatch Ontario Vocalizations

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on September 12th, 2013

These vocalizations have been called into question previously here at Cryptomundo.

Has this YouTube user Mikey Paterson replicated the sounds showing they are a hoax?

Or are they legitimate Sasquatch vocalizations?

Why Do We Assume Sasquatch?

Posted by: John Kirk on September 2nd, 2013

Eerie unidentifiable noises in the woods. Is the logic supposed to be that any unknown sound in the forest must be a sasquatch? If it is, it’s flawed.

[A couple of months after the publication of Testing of Game Cameras for Sound Emissions at the NAWAC web site, Dr. Martin Lenhardt, who supervised the game camera tests, contacted us again. After he noted, “Jane Goodall thinks there may be something to this story,” Dr. Lenhardt asked if we had “access to any sounds this guy makes?” The following reflections were offered in response to receiving recordings of possible North American wood ape vocalizations.]

I am asking a favor of all of the Cryptomundians.

If you are a fan of the site, I ask that you consider backing the Kickstarter funding campaign for the SquatcIt.

As you can see, we have 15 12 days left and need an additional $1865 $1382 in funding.

If you can find it within yourself, dig deep into your pockets and help this project be successful.

I appreciate it.
