I have heard several stories of southern Sasquatches taking domestic and wild pigs.
if big foots are real, it has to.
where else is a 7-10 ft tall 400-700 lb animal get enough protein to sustain itself?
just fish?
I suspect that if a 700 lb Sasquatch existed, it could get its protein the same way as a 1,200 to 1,500 lb bull moose does, eating plant material.
interesting…. BUT… wouldn’t make sense based on all the reports for it to eat plant material…
bulls ONLY eat plant material, not other animals, right?
so that wouldn’t jive.
reports have it killing animals… deer, elk… fish.
so are these reports all wrong?
I always thought an animal was either grass feeder or eats other animals…

Yes. Bears do. It’s called being an omnivore. Bears eat whatever they can find or catch when the need arises.
Their diet includes everything from roots and berries through all forms of worms and insects to small animals and larger animals when necessary. They will also eat human leftovers and garbage when available as well. They both forage and hunt. Along with humans, they are among the most opportunistic feeders – even more so since humans generally will not eat carrion which bears will readily consume. The debate over a Bigfoot diet is silly. If 400 – 1,000 lbs bears can survive in North America, so could a Bigfoot…if it actually exists.
I agree cryptokellie. There are currently several species of large-bodied herbivores and omnivores that number in the millions and tens of millions in the case of white-tailed deer. If Sasquatch exists, its diet probably would overlap with these species.

it would then match up with reports of these things eating deer, elk etc.
but then also eating berries etc. based on the time of year.
i’d love to somehow take the sightings data… time of year etc.
match them up with known animal migration patterns … time of year… etc.
with known food patterns… (when foods get ripe etc) time of year.
I THINK there would be some very interesting patterns there someone could use to get a more definitive area and time of year on the sightings.
