Recreating the Sasquatch Ontario Vocalizations

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on September 12th, 2013

These vocalizations have been called into question previously here at Cryptomundo. (see links at bottom of post)

Has this YouTube user Mikey Paterson replicated the sounds showing they are a hoax?

Or are they legitimate Sasquatch vocalizations?

YouTube user Mikey Paterson has uploaded the following videos to YouTube:

This audio was created using nothing more than software and a cheap microphone. Imagine what could be done with a little more time and effort and some better equipment! Like I said, it’s all child’s play with this fake audio. I bet if I started my own hoax channel and told people this was a real “primal person,” they would take the bait, hook, line, and sinker.Mikey Paterson

This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Sasquatch Ontario.

QUOTE FROM SASQUATCH ONTARIO, AS PREDICTED:

“He didn’t recreate anything. He’s taken the original audio and ran it through some software slightly changing it and calling it his own. Ask him to put a video up showing step by step from scratch. I’ll put money on it that he won’t do it, cause he can’t. He’s a liar, plain and simple.

There’s an agenda by a few scumbags who don’t have a life other than trying to discredit truth. They can’t stand this and they’ll do anything to knock it down.” – Sasquatch OntarioMikey Paterson

Now that I have the voice and software settings dialed in, I thought I’d try mimicking some of the more “difficult” vocalizations, as well as some of the other fake evidence like weaves and prints. Mine look better than the originals if I say so myself.

Sorry, no marbles were thrown during the filming of these Sasquatchs, but I did sacrifice a couple peanut butter and jam sandwiches.

Be aware that these frauds are already trying to claim this material as their own. Hoaxers will say and do anything to keep themselves in business, it’s sad.Mikey Paterson

  1. DWA responds:

I have decided that, besides you-gotta-prove-to-me-what-they-are, I’m not getting embroiled in any discussions of sasquatch vocalizations unti the animal is confirmed.

(Other than to chuckle at some of the more obvious tomfoolery.)

  2. cryptokellie responds:

I agree with DWA. Until the flesh and blood animal is verified, there isn’t much point to entertaining dubious noises in the night.

  3. alan borky responds:

    Bollocks!

I was expectin’ some tour de force of technological trickery with multiple layers of sped up shrieks overlaid with slowed down bass tones pitched almost outside the range of the human ear.

Where’s the stabbing staccato violin screeches intertwined with gated guttural highly percussive plosives [anyone who’s familiar with vocal mixing software’ll know what I mean] resembling a row between a gang of Yakuza while they’re intermittently dragging their nails down a blackboard?

I don’t know whether the sort of recordings I’m referring to’re genuine sasquatch etc conversations but what they’re outputting’s at least as sonically complex as the most technically tricky ensembles created by the best human beatboxes in scientific studies which still struggle to identify the bodily and neural mechanisms behind such performances.

All Chuckles’s done is haphazardly belch and even then he hasn’t even begun to simulate the most ordinary and lackadaisical of human speech patterns never mind the rushed clipped often machinegun paced delivery and rhythms of the hypothetical sasquatch recordings covering a huge range of right across the spectrum tones.

  4. Dr Kaco responds:

“Wow look at that midtarsal break” lol ….classic!

  5. Becho responds:

My many encounters and my own attempts to make contact and friends with Sasquatch make me believe, much more than not, that these are legitimate recordings. I’ve heard them sound very human and I’ve also heard them imitate birds out of season as well as many other animals. They are very capable of a large range of vocalizations. I once had fun with one that was imitating a coyote. I imitated a coyote back at him vocalizing very complex patterns (Whoooo, woo, woo, whoooooo, woo, woo, woo) He repeated the patterns exactly every time. I kept changing up the pattern and he kept repeating the new ones without error. I could almost see him smile and laugh in my minds eye. Those of you who have howled back and forth with a coyote before know that this is not what coyotes do.

The naysayers don’t know what they are talking about. They seem to think they know what Sasquatch is capable of and what it isn’t. They know nothing about them. Sasquatch are masters of stealth and very shy, as well as being very good at a large range of vocalizations.

Open your minds a little. So what if you can imitate the sounds with mics and programs. All that means is that you can imitate sounds with mics and programs. It doesn’t mean that Mike is a hoax.

Keep up the good work Mike. I am learning from your posts. We are beginning a new habituation ourselves. These naysayers have no idea how difficult it is to do.

  6. PhotoExpert responds:

Well done Mikey Paterson! These sounds or vocalizations sound very similar if not identical to those supplied evidence from Sasquatch Ontario!

I agree with the sentiments of DWA and cryptokellie. I too, can even begin to consider to enter a debate on a creature that is unproven or the sounds made by an unproven animal. What I can debate is if the sounds can be replicated by humans. I can consider evidence that refutes the claims that certain sounds could have only been made by a Sasquatch. Because once a human being has produced those sounds, that means the other claim was refuted.

I admire and applaud those that take their time to help! Kudos!

  7. Ploughboy responds:

Agreed. We don’t know what is on the SO recordings, and it is useless to debate it without more. I will say though the attempts to reproduce the sounds in this clip are close, but easily distinguishable. It is sort of like somebody playing a vintage Les Paul using Neil Young’s amp and pedals….to the inexperienced, it will sound exactly like Neil. To others, it will be glaringly obvious it ain’t Ol’ Blackie after hearing only about two notes. These are subtle things, but definite.

For years nobody gave serious thought to the so-called Sierra Sounds recordings. Krantz dismissed them as well. It wasn’t until someone with a background in crypto linguistics heard them that they became of greater significance. The conclusion R.Scott Nelson made was they constituted language. If those recordings contain cognates, why not these? Just a question to ponder, I think.
