Sasquatch Howls recorded in Cuyahoga National Park

Listen to the 2015 howl recording from Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Compare it to the 1994 howl recording from Columbiana County, Ohio
The 2015 recording was obtained by Charlie Page (Ohio BFRO) in northeast Ohio’s Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) around 11pm in March. There have been sporadic sightings, sounds and track finds near and within this park for decades. It is an amazing, beautiful area but it is not well known outside Ohio. The size of the park is 52 square miles, 50% larger than Manhattan (34 square miles).
Charlie says his sound recorder was within 1000 feet a scenic vista point named Hemlock Point. The white noise in the background is traffic noise from a freeway (I-271) which cuts through the park. The animal howls more than once from basically the same area but seems to face a different direction for each howl. Distant response whoops can be heard in the background at points.
The 1994 recording was obtained by Matt Moneymaker (BFRO founder) 50 miles to the east of the Cuyahoga recording area. Known as the “Ohio Howl” for the past 20 years, this recording has consistently stumped animal sound experts. All scientifc analysis has concluded that it was not a mechanical device nor was it the vocalization of any known animal.
In the 1994 recording a dog barks furiously as the howler howls repeatedly. The howler was standing on a point overlooking the Ohio River apparently to project its howls across the river to the hills on the West Virginia side.

question…. how do you know these aren’t other people making howls looking for a bigfoot?
other question… if no ones seen a bigfoot making the howls, how can you be sure that big foots actually make them?
i don’t get that whatsoever.
Interesting, whatever made these sounds had a hell of a set of lungs. When analyzed, the 1994 recording was said to be out of the human voice range, these sounded very similar.
deconstrukt: I’m pretty sure no one has ever caught a Blue Whale singing, yet I used to have their first album. Are you suggesting a second unknown animal in the area might have made these calls? It’s not impossible, of course, but it would be extraordinary.
Is it a female cougar in heat? Maybe, but I tend to doubt it. I’m going to go with Bigfoot on these very similar calls – after all, both areas are hotbeds of Bigfoot sightings.
Le Method Scientifique isn’t always that useful when dealing with elusive, clever creatures. It might be helpful after the discovery, but it doesn’t get you there at the right time, if there is a right time.
To the guys who made those howls : excellent job guys, you make it sound authentic.
Goodfoot – difference is we actually KNOW there are whales and blue whales… we have proof… no ones ever proven a bigfoot is real.
big difference homie 🙂
