Interesting observation made from last night’s Bigfoot Files episode regarding Russia’s Almasty.
Posted by: The Discerning Man's Squatch on November 4th, 2013
Programme discusses Russia – its size and the fact that it’s the largest country on the planet. 6,000 miles E to W. They talk about the fact that the Russians theorize that the Almasti is a surviving human-like ancestor – maybe even Neanderthal. There have been thousands of sightings across Russia. The Almasti is described as human-like, 5-7 feet hight 200-400lbs in weight and hairy with coloration from red to beige, from brown to black.
Quote from Brian Sykes – “No serious scientists has looked into this field for the last 50 years.”

The creature then came toward us, flying at least 25-30 feet off the ground. The younger couple who had noticed the creature first were now screaming and cowering, the man shielding the woman while shielding his head with a jacket.
My friend and I looked in awe as this creature flew over us.
That’s when I noticed the two large red eyes; they seemed to glow from within and with a blood red hue. They were unblinking in the 3-4 seconds we saw them, we knew they were looking straight at us, we knew this creature knew we could see it and it made no attempt to disguise itself.

Well, we at the BCSCC were the first to say it and now Bryan Sykes confirms what we brought to you in the BCSCC Quarterly a couple of years ago. We stated our belief that Zana, the unknown hominid of Abkhazia was of possible Australoid descent and carried an article on the Africans who lived in Abkhazia in the 19th century.

The rarely seen skull of Zana, showing the prognathism.
If you were expecting or even hoping that Zana was a Neanderthal or Almasty, you might be in for a shock.

The ‘Almasty’ is Russia’s very own Bigfoot. It has been written about for over 300 years, and Russia’s Almasty hunters claim there have been over 10,000 encounters over the years.
The big theory in Russia is that it’s a surviving hominid, possibly even a Neanderthal.<
