I said I would comment on Bobcat Goldthwait’s excellent (showing my bias already) film Willow Creek.
Horror movies are not my cup of tea generally and I think the last two I saw were Scream-The Original and I Know What You Did Last Summer over a decade ago.
So I went into this wide open to experiencing a little suspense. I got more than I bargained for.

Photographs of Bigfoot. Bigfoot captured on camera in Virginia off the shore of the Intercoastal Waterways. Finally, a photo that is not blurry nor hidden behind a tree. A clear photo of Bigfoot standing out in the wide open. You be the judge.

In the middle of the night near a remote camping area deep in the mountains of the Barrington Tops, the camper witnesses up to 7 Yowies as she watches through the mesh of her tent. The large Yowies seem to be play fighting, while the younger ones throw rocks at the ground.
This encounter lasted 15 minutes before they returned to the tree line and disappeared.

The team travels to Eastern Washington and the Blue Mountains to meet with professor Jeff Meldrum where he discovered the tracks of a possible bigfoot. With accounts going back for fifty years, the team is optimistic about finding something in the woods.

The film will be distributed in the United States by Universal, and it’s set for release on April 7, 2017.
In case anyone is worried that del Toro will get too clever and try to do something new with it, he assures everyone that it will feature “more Kaijus, more Jaegers, kicking each other’s butts.

The AIMS team travels to Greenbrier County, West Virginia, to investigate a humanoid bipedal called “The Cave Creature.” The team tracks the elusive creature through a twenty-mile cave system toward a series of snare traps.
