Still ranks up there as one of the most compelling pieces of video evidence. This clip includes Paul’s examination and casting of the infant prints. The original casts are in my collection and are discussed in my book Sasaquatch: Legend Meets Science.

Wood Knocks Volume One: Journal of Sasquatch Research is, as the title suggests, the first in an ongoing series of books on the Bigfoot controversy. Published by David Weatherly’s Leprechaun Press, and with excellent cover artwork from Sam Shearon, the book is a collection of papers on a wide variety of Bigfoot-themed issues.

Although Hollywood loves to depict their classic werewolves in shredded shirts and jeans, the great majority of eyewitness reports describe fur as the only covering on the upright canines they have encountered.
Here’s an exception to the rule, from a former Texas pizza delivery man whose encounter occurred the night of July 20, 2012.

Sasquatch, Yeti, MoMo, Nape—the creature goes by different names around the world. A sort of pseudoscience has emerged to suss out the biology and behavior of this animal. Here’s what it says.

Can a tiny creature that doesn’t even exist inflict agonising pain and even death upon its human victims? Ordinarily, I would say no – but the history (and mystery) of a virtually forgotten yet decidedly bizarre micro-assassin known as Furia infernalis, the hellish fury worm, is anything but ordinary.

Bob Gimlin was a small town cowboy when his friend coaxed him into hunting the famous mythical creature 50 years ago. Today, as the legend of Bigfoot has grown, Gimlin is viewed by the community of believers around the country as something of a prophet.

Originally placed at 100,000-12,000 years ago, Homo floresiensis would have overlapped in time with modern humans, long after H. erectus and even Neandertals essentially disappeared. One of the more fascinating proposed connections between the “hobbits” and humans comes from Indonesian folklore, in the form of Ebu Gogo and Orang Pendek.

I was invited by Derek Randles, of the Olympic Project, to give a presentation at an annual get together in the beautiful north Olympic wilderness at a location near Lake Crescent, Washington State on the Victoria Day long weekend of 2016.
May 20th to May 22nd to be exact; a holiday long weekend in Canada but not in the U.S.
This group, unlike so many others out there, are not what I commonly refer to as “inmates running the asylum” but a collection of serious-minded researchers whom combine their research methods in order to find the evidence needed to either confirm or, in some cases, disprove the existence of Bigfoot in the wilderness of Washington State. Some researchers came from Oregon, as well as Canada, not to mention Texas, all there to share ideas and methods to collect and gather evidence.

John Green did not believe in sasquatches.
This was the first thing Green told me when I met him in 2009, for an interview at his home in Agassiz, British Columbia. He had a big, uncluttered wooden desk in the corner of his living room, with a map of the Pacific Northwest tacked to the wall beside it. He sat behind the desk and folded his hands in front of him and, before I could ask him a question, told me that people like him were called believers, but they weren’t. “We’re investigators
